Noel is obsessed with razor blades. He's chained to one in morning glory and in Dream On he's trying to avoid one hanging in the kitchen.
Who the fuck keeps razor blades hanging in the kitchen?
It's an accident waiting to happen if you ask me.

If I Had a Gun is a good composition, imo. Badly produced but still a really good compostion. Better than WAL or Broken Arrow, if you ask me.

I hope NG plays LTLSALOM on August 16th, I have a feeling that song feels amazing to listen to live in a crowd. However I hope he won't be this squeaky.

Dark and mysterious... it should get more love on here! I've been hooked to it since we first heard an instrumental snippet in the TDOYAM making of video. Back then (it was in the summer, a couple of months before the album came out) many of us thought that LTLSALOM and A Simple Game of Genius were the same track.

LTLSALOM is so powerful even if it's one of the lyrically shortest songs on the album, it says so much with so little, it's so calm and collected but at the same time so distraught and torturous. You'd think it would be super boring to listen to because it seems like it doesn't have enough lyrics but I always feel like it ended too soon. And that female vocal is just so amazing, I'm in love with Noel's usage of female vocals lately. It's so wonderful, so many feelings right there, aaaah. Brb, I need to play it again while quietly sobbing. God bless Noel Gallagher, hopefully he will cryogenically preserve himself after death so he can write songs forever.

I'll really never get into ITHOTM, I think. Doesn't help that anytime the chorus appears, I hear "You got a great car; yeah what's with wrong with it today..."too.

It's nice to see that Chris Sharrock was on drums in Atlanta last night! Best drummer Oasis ever had, in my opinion. Short clip of YKWCGB from Instagram: http://instagram.com/p/BHV_c3VgqbK

Short clip of YKWCGB from Instagram: http://instagr.am/p/BHV_c3VgqbK Did the old man dedicate it to "all the Oasis fans" again? I honestly admire people who manage to film anything on a gig, you guys are the real MVPs. I'm always too busy jumping and screaming and singing. Last time I attempted to do this, my ugly crying was almost audible, despite the music.

He didn't play Freaky Teeth or Record Machine. Not even one single change...

I really enjoyed You Know We Can't Go Back when I saw Noel do it live.
Hate the recorded version though.

I really enjoyed You Know We Can't Go Back when I saw Noel do it live. Hate the recorded version though. It's crazy to think how many songs could have been better than they are on their studio version form. That's true especially for, NGHFB 1, but also CY. The examples are various: If I Had A Gun, Broken Arrow, Record Machine, Everybody's On The Run, Ballad of The Mighty I, Lock All The Doors, You Know We Can't Go Back, etc. Some might say that Noel's biggest problem was 60's like production, but his new attempt to get a 2010's sound (I mean, very mainstream ) is as frustrating, imo.

Exactly 6 more weeks until the NGHFB gig. Probably the longest 6 weeks of my life that will be. I am already imagining myself there i nthe crowd, Everybody's On The Run is starting, the crowd goes wild, NG looks and sounds amazing as usual, I start crying and screaming! I better not wear makeup!

I wasn't initially excited about "The Mexican". Daft fucking title and those opening lyrics are pure rubbish. However...........I'm a big fan of it since the album came out and I feel like it keep growing stronger. That song has swagger that Chasing Yesterday definitely needed on the back end. Noel made the right call leaving "Do The Damage" off for "The Mexican". I'd miss it if Noel didn't play it at all his shows going forward. The horn section is fabulous live. I even dig the remix from the Record Store Day release.

Do The Damage is underrated on this forum imo, one of the highlights of the CY era if you ask me. 1. Do The Damage 2. Riverman 3. In The Heat Of The Moment 4. The Girl With X-Ray Eyes 5. Lock All The Doors 6. The Dying Of The Light 7. The Right Stuff 8. Whille The Song Remains The Same 9. The Mexican 10. You Know We Can't Go Back 11. Ballad Of The Mighty I
