Those SCYHO performances are really, really good. Jess stays too much in the background. Most of the times you can't even hear her. Come on Noel, let her sing! Have you heard any of her band, Wonder 45? Only a few songs released but really looking forward to hearing an album soon…

I'm really looking forward to Noel's acoustic album. Right in his wheelhouse

I'd love if Noel followed up the acoustic album with a big rock album with lots of electric guitar. Or at least SOME electric guitar.

I'd love if Noel followed up the acoustic album with a big rock album with lots of electric guitar. Or at least SOME electric guitar. While promoting Council Skies, Noel said he had 2 albums of material. One would be acoustic and the other was a big guitar anthem album. I’d much prefer that to be honest.

And the rock album will sound "like Frank Zappa playing mah-jong with Mia Khalifa during the punk era".

Current status: Sitting in a bar in Las Vegas, as you do, and am wearing a NGHfB shirt.
Bartender said “woah, I used to tour with Noel!”
I haven’t yet been able to get anything else out of him. But I’m so curious.

Black Keys dropped a new song today. Is it one of the songs Noel co-wrote?

On this day in 2012 Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds released Dream On as a single which is one of Noel's worse songs in my opinion.

What's everyone's opinion on WBTM and the 3 EPs? I personally love them. Holy Mountain, This is the Place and The Man Who Built the Moon are top tier.

The EPs are a bit hit and miss: for instance I think 'A Dream is all I need...' is one of his best solo songs and 'Black Star Dancing' one of the worst. But that's what happens when you try something different, so all good to me

WBTM holds a special place for me for personal reasons, but I think from Fort Knox to She Taught Me How To Fly, Noels unstoppable in that great streak of songs. One of the funny things is the day the album released, Noel was on radio whatever talking about the album and he said to all you playlist people or computer savvy people out there, please move Interlude 1 to after She Taught Me How To Fly for me. Thats where it should've gone. I do love the album, but I greatly dislike Black & White Sunshine personally, thats it though.

What's everyone's opinion on WBTM and the 3 EPs? I personally love them. Holy Mountain, This is the Place and The Man Who Built the Moon are top tier. WBTM is my favourite record of his, very narrowly followed by Chasing Yesterday. The difference between these two for me is that WBTM is a proper record whereas Chasing Yesterday feels like a collection of songs if you see what I mean. As for the EPs, it's a good thing he released them as EPs since there's no cohesion. The title tracks are all kind of meh to me except This is the Place. But there are some real gems in the other tracks from the EPs like Sail On, Rattling Rose and A Dream is all I need to Get By. It was nice to finally have a finished, albeit overproduced and bland Come On Outside. Evil Flower is a fun track and Wandering Star is classic Noel and could have been on Council Skies. But yeah, musically, that era is my favourite yet. I've always loved experimental Noel.

I really enjoy all 3 title tracks. Wish they made WBTM to be honest. That album is 1-2 tunes short for me. Also, Sail On is mega.
