Why wasn't Do The Damage the opening track on Chasing Yesterday?

Why wasn't Do The Damage the opening track on Chasing Yesterday? Because it is awesome as a b-side, but would be panned if it were on the record.

Yeah, so this fucking thing skips half of Listen Up. Edit: AND Digsy's Dinner! Tim nails DLBIA!

Did Noel dedicate Digsy's Dinner to Flo? Yep.

Why wasn't Do The Damage the opening track on Chasing Yesterday? As much as I love DTD, it pales in comparison to Riverman. Riverman also marks the first time any Gallagher album opened with something other than a loud rocker, a perfect fit for CY, an album where Noel (partly) moves away from his traditional sound.

What a great gig it was yesterday! Only missed Masterplan.

His vocals at Lollapalooza was some of the worst (certain songs worse than others, Listen Up being one of them) during this tour cycle. Hoping it was due to a mixing issue.

Not his best performace, I agree, but on the other hand it probably was the worst pro-shot audio we've got since 2011. Awful mix and low bitrate.

Will be interesting to hear audio from tonight's gig.

To be honest, I can't be bothered following Noel's tour stuff right now, let alone being excited for setlist changes. Unless he plays an Oasis-less gig (including no DLBIA) then I'm not all interested until he drops a new track during the gigs, or just one altogether.

It's nice to hear listen up, but I've heard that song a thousand times. I KNOW that he'll never not play DLBIA, but if he didn't, it'll be interesting and everyone here would be talking about it.

Today it's exactly a year ago that I saw Noel live.
My mom texted me this morning, saying "Today it's exactly a year ago that I've been carried out at the gig!"

Remember the last time Noel was in a musical act that had to deliver a highly anticipated third album? Yeah, well. It's gonna be epic this time too.

Noel seems really happy about how the Argentine crowd reacted at his gigs and how much they love him in general,it's pretty cool to see

Not sure where to put this as it could mean absolutely nothing... While browsing on YouTube I noticed this short clip which is basically an advert for an interview with Noel's mixing engineer Dan Lewis (you can read it here: issuu.com/mondiale/docs/tpimar16_digitallr/28). I think that the audio track in the background comes from one of Noel's soundchecks (after the applause and cheering which belong to a different recording). The rhythm guitar starting around 00:25 totally sounds like him: it's not only the playing style that suits him, but mainly the guitar tone and related effects. It might be a simple band jam, but also the base of a new track. In the interview Dan Lewis says that he usually records stuff from the mixing desk, so... (By the way, this post is complete speculation)
