Is that a mellotron in the background of Sad Song?
Or a hammond organ?
Sounds great anyway.
I can harmonise with Noël on Sad Song!

And as you look into the eyes of a bloody cold assassin, it's only then you'll realize with whose life you have been messing.
Fookin' love that lyric, and it's delivered so well too.

I wonder if Noel ever plays Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Getting Back Together" to Liam. You go talk to Andy go talk to Gem go talk to me.... Lennon2217

THE BEST OF LAG compilation album 1. Turn Up the Sun 2. Hung in a Bad Place 3. I'm Outta Time 4. Songbird 5. Eyeball Tickler 6. To Be Where There's Life 7. Pass Me Down the Wine 8. Keep the Dream Alive 9. Thank You for the Good Times 10. Boy with the Blues Good list, but I'd have Guess God Thinks I'm Abel at track five, and then all of the tracks moved down from there. That one is a good acoustic track that is stripped back, which was something different for a band like Oasis, until that little jam at the end.

Nice LAG compilations but I don't get the love for PMDTW. It's ok but I Believe In All is a far better version of the same song IMO. I'd also stick Better Man in there maybe. I like it, its got a nice groove to it.

Can you put lipstick on a pig? I think so.
Songs like PYMWYMI, I Can See a Liar, Ain't Got Nuthin', and especially Soon Come Tomorrow, are examples of extremely lazy songwriting. The last one has got to have some of the worst lyrics in history!
But yet, all of these are enjoyable listens! And that is because of the great production. The arrangements, mixes, and small moments are really what make these good (but not great by any means) songs. But take away all those shiny layers of production, and you'll end up with absolutely dreadful music. That's why Heathen Chemistry fails. The production is so awful that it exposes the shit tunes for what they truly are.

How can you not like Hey Now? Sure it's a bit long but if you can stomach Be Here Now than what's wrong with the 5:41 runtime? One of Noel's best lyrical contributions. BANG ON!

Still love both bands though

My Oasis thoughts of the day is that I don't want to being an Oasis fan as I don't want to associate with some Oasis "fans".

You know how many parents dress their newborn in their favorite sports team's attire? Well, I'm going to have my child wear earphones while listening to nonstop Oasis. Some might call it indoctrination, I call it appreciation.
