So many threads just talking rando general Oasis stuff is still wild to me. It’s like they’ve never broken up and everyone is casually arguing about support sets and drummers like this is their 12th album or something.
It feels surreal to me, let alone those who’ve been here for like, ever. I’ve been into them since 2017 and all the conversations in the sub board are like a slight hiccup from 2009. Really cool to watch.
(Oppositely named album called ‘Start The Clocks’, please Noel?)

Whatever Noel took at Budokan 1998 made him on absolute fire. This and Supersonic. He was clearly on something on that night and it made him playing that outstanding outro.

This video is kind of bittersweet. It's absolutely amazing but this is the same band that, only 2 years later, would be playing Go Let It Out... and I like GLIO don't get me wrong, but the difference in energy and ...how it feels for a lack of a proper word for it... between GLIO and this clip is insane. They really were a different band post-2000.

Will Noel wait for "anniversaries" to release SOTSOG, HC and DBTT deluxe boxsets ?
While DOYS could get the treatment in 2028, it seems a bit far to way 20230, 2032 and 2035 for those 3. DBTT probably wont be released in 2025 coz you know, there's a few stuff going on.
Since Noel gets all the right back next year, maybe we'll get those earlier ? like once a year, as the beatles did.

Was a bit before my time as a fan, but Id love to have been a fly on the wall while die hard fans were learning that was the name of the new album’s opening track….

Whatever Noel took at Budokan 1998 made him on absolute fire. This and Supersonic. I was always wondering where this came from. Probably drugs, but this is perhaps the best Noel guitar solo I've seen. He was a poor man's David Gilmour that night and I say that lovingly.

Yeah crazy times, although i wasnt on L4E at the time. Thought they had gone mad between this and Who Feel Love. And then the album came out. Crazy to think Fucking In The Bushes was broadcasted on the radio too Go Let It Out was a great comeback single as well

Been listening to a lot of BHN lately. Criminally underrated record, people were spoilt vagina back then for not liking it; I've always loved it, we would kill for a record like that nowadays.
Captures the joy and excitement of the late 90s. Perfect, even the bsides. Its time to put BHN where it belongs: among the great;

I go through some periods where it's my favourite Oasis album. Most of the time it isn't, but some of time it is.

I knew that on 21 August 1997 and I yearn for the completed rethink. But: when it's good, it's right up there.

I dont know, you have to be in a certain mindset to listen to it, eg if you're tired obviously it wont work at all. But in a summery day, good night sleep and a coffee, feet in the grass, man...

[b I remember going to HMV on the day to buy it. Still a brilliant record and one of my favs. A real journey of excess musical coked up landscape. Never got the hate.

Only thing I'd change, without changing any song lengths, is taking out Magic Pie. That would've made the first half flow much much better and made it an easier listen. That song was great B-side material (I'd even argue Fade In-Óut is too but I like its place as a midway breather)
