Soppy post of the day: I'm listening to Cast No Shadow as I type this and I'm nearly in tears. They're finally back, people ❤️

saw someone ask for Be Here Now to be played when they came back (what song they'll never play would you like) and I think Oasis is overdue for getting the honky tonk on the stage

Bonehead's Bank Holiday is such a wild song when you think about it.
Noel wrote it as a joke and then stuck it on the vinyl of MG, knowing that the vast majority of fans would never get to hear it or even know of its existence (until it was included in the remastered boxset).
And it's one of the better tunes from the MG sessions, I think. Silly, but undeniably catchy. People talk about Noel wasting The Masterplan and Acquiesce as B-sides but Bonehead's Bank Holiday is just as big a fumble imo.

Out for a walk a while ago and it came on my playlist and I was just smiling away like a dope listening to it

This clip is from 2008 and is still the most accurate parody of Oasis. From the script and songs right through to the looks, accents and mannerisms of both Gallagher brothers.… perfect parody.

I love this. The first performance of the song, four days after Noel wrote it and still a month removed from him recording it in the studio. The people in attendance don't realize what they've witnessed but (I can imagine) they know they were a part of something very, very special.

Never seen this performance before. Perhaps the perfect version of Go Let It Out. Liam’s voice here is mint.

'If We Shadows' had the potential to be a very good song. Accelerate it a bit, make the arrangement electric, add Liam's voice and done

Saw this and thought it was cool, the first night at Knebworth is being shown in full in cinemas exclusively in Japan!
I hope they do it here at some point

There’s an even funnier one that I can’t seem to find anywhere — I don’t know the UK show or where it’s from, but Liam is talking a football game and is like “at first we were winning, then we were losing, then we were drawing, then losing, then winning…doing me head in” Anybody remember that or know where to find?

It's an absolute travesty that they never played The Turning or Bag It Up live.

Last night I dreamt that 30 fans (including myself) were waiting at some sort of room because Oasis were set to announce something. Liam and Noel walked in and started playing songs from a new album. There was a setlist of 5 songs hung on the wall and I could read the names but can't remember. There wasn't any stage or anything, or even any other band members, just a very casual rehearsal.
They were on a very good mood and laughed together, they looked happy. I couldn't focus on the songs because (now it gets weird) I was standing right next to Liam and I was holding a frying pan from which Liam was picking out slices of bacon (still hot and sizzling) and eating them in pauses between verses.
At some point I did a sudden move with the frying pan and hot oil burned Liam in the hand, he blamed me and kicked me out of the room. I inmediately went online to post about it on this forum. I wanted to share everything about the new songs but couldn't remember any of it, also people was more interested in the bacon stuff.
I'd wish I was making this up.

Almost forgot about that but what happened with Liam playing at the boxing fight next Saturday? He's still listed for the event. Any chance they play together there?

The biggest electronics store chain in Hungary sells quite a lot of CDs and vinyls at every one of their locations. Usually it's mainstream stuff, new releases but older classics as well. I was looking at their website to see what Oasis stuff they have on the racks and I was surprised to see that you can order the Home of the Monks bootleg CD and thee My Magic Pie: Live At Olympia Hall, Munich, Germany LP! I'm sure it's just in their database for some reason and they wouldn't deliver it but still weird to see...

Whatever Noel took at Budokan 1998 made him on absolute fire. This and Supersonic.

That video is unreal lol I think both the Gallagher bros probably get an absolute kick out of parody stuff like this over the years. Noel has mentioned before laughing his arse off at people taking the piss in reviews of his songs and Liam not finding it as funny though it's changed over the years now I'd imagine with Liam. They probably took the absolute piss out each other in the band more than anyone else could.
