Just noticed Familar to Millions is on Prime so stuck it on and the intro is completely different to what I’ve seen before. I had it on VHS back in the day (god I’m old) and it didn’t have this black and white long intro showing the crowd being disorderly outside the stadium and the police getting involved whilst Who Feels Love plays in the background. Anyone else seen it? Has that bit just been added for the digital release? I still have both the DVD and VHS versions of this and the VHS documentary is so much better than the awful one on the DVD version.

Theoretically if this were to happen you'd imagine (with the exception of Guigsy) every former member would be interested in participating. Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't McCarroll's confirmed his interest and White too (or at least implied it). The only active former member who has their own thing going independent of the Gallagher's is Andy Bell (with Ride) so he potentially might pass up the opportunity (though I doubt it). You would imagine the former members who currently play with Liam (i.e. Bonehead) and Noel (i.e. Gem and Chris Sharrock (and touring member Mike Rowe)) would all stand a good chance of being included.
Not necessarily my choice of an Oasis lineup but to me (others can disagree) this one seems not unlikely...
Liam Gallagher - Lead vocals, tambourine Noel Gallagher - Rhythm guitar, backing vocals, lead vocals Gem Archer - Lead guitar Bonehead - Bass Chris Sharrock - Drums, percussion
...with Mike Rowe and others as touring members. I could perhaps see someone else playing bass, Andy Bell, Russell Pritchard, whoever and Bonehead making auxiliary guest appearances on guitar.
I'm sure there's plenty of hardcore fans who wouldn't be fully happy with this lineup but let's be honest, as long as Liam and Noel are there, it's unquestionably Oasis. Maybe I'm wrong but I'd imagine the following to be something many hardcore fans would want (assuming Guigsy's isn't interested)...
Liam Gallagher - Lead vocals, tambourine Noel Gallagher - Lead guitar, backing vocals, lead vocals Bonehead - Rhythm guitar Either Gem or Andy - Bass Alan White - Drums, percussion

Mad that the same time has passed between DM and the breakup and the breakup and now.
15 years a piece, 30 total.
Time for a reunion.
Won't happen but it would be perfect with Liam's voice as it currently is!
The time is now.

It would definitely be:
Liam Noel Bonehead Alan White
100% those 4 would be involved.
Whoever fills the 5 spot who knows
If it's a 1 off I can see Andy/Gem etc out and playing on some tunes

I still don't get how deadset some people are on this never happening. If some Saudi billionaire came around and offered Noel something ridiculous he would do it in a heartbeat lol.. Morning Glory 30th Anniversary is the perfect time for Noel to make a few million and then go back off doing his own thing. Also am I the only one who thinks they would actually get along better if they start taking again? Liams matured quite a bit over the years There was this one time I was selling pot to this Amish dude. You know those guys who got like the beard with, like, no mustache or some bullshit? Well, he says that he only wants to make furniture. I'm not putting words in your mouth or nothing, but you just said that everybody wants to get rich. Yeah, like Buddhists. They don't give a shit about money. They're wrapped in sheets. They're not buying shit. God bless.

Could Bonehead be the key to a reunion and is he big enough personality to try and referee the brothers to get them through a tour?
I think it'll likely be High Flying Birds + Liam + Bonehead in some capacity. Noel will want to keep as many of "his" mates and alies in the band as possible.
Hoping for DM setlist transposed to MG, album plus B-Sides and Cum on Feel The Noize closer. If it's not that then it'll be pure best of Oasis.

Happy 30th birthday to Live Forever.
One of the greatest songs ever written and the song which got me into Oasis.
Good music will never die and gonna live forever. Music brings people together despite their languages, gender and backgrounds.
I don’t believe that music could change the world, but music has significant power.

That was apparently to do with HFB's, not Oasis.

Honest question: Do you think fans will be mad at Liam if this turns out to be something else? I think hardcore fans are used to Liam's Twitter innuendo (and I personally won't care if this is a wind up), but I just wonder if he's ballooning expectations for the broader base out there...

Liams done this song and dance again and again and will continue to do so. Nothing will happen with him and fans.

that later years crowd is what we'd be getting, except now theres more angry coked up shitbags I hope the beautiful youth will show up like at the solo gigs! Sell any reunion gigs as 'that band who did Wonderwall' and the young folk will get in first in the queue ahead of the coked up, EDL c*nts. At the same time, lets falsely advertise an Oasis reunion gig for the skinhead lot, and they walk into an incinerator disguised as a stadium. Problem solved!

Lots of hype, but it's a bit hard for me to get excited to pay a shitload to watch Gem, Andy Bell and Insert Drummer's Name Here on stage again. Seeing that version of the band tour a WSTMG? anniversary would be a travesty. The Oasis that died in 2009 should stay buried. Bring back Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan or feck off. I'm in the same mindset. Andy & Gem, although technically better, sterilised the Oasis sound. Nothing remotely special about their playing styles. Bonehead and Guigs gave it the ragged raw energy. They were never quite the same after they left. This ain't controversial in the slightest but, as live performers go,.... Liam's band >>>> Oasis (Gem/Andy era). In a live capacity, it's going to be a step down for Liam. Plus you have Noel manning the ship and we all know how unadventurous he is with regards to setlists, so there's another setback. So, as tempting as it seems initially, on further thought, it's a hard no. Let Liam take the reigns for a change. Mark my words, it would be a hell of a lot more adventurous and entertaining.

I’m sure he’s a nice guy (In fact he is, I’ve met him) but my god Gem is boring. Watch any interview back with him, when he’s asked a question.. “I dunno man” he literally has no personality about him

Gem's playing is a bit uninspired at times but his guitar tone in HFB is always spot-on. Crunchy, clean, distorted... In every situation it's just perfect.

The band imo would be obviously Liam, Noel , bonehead , gem whitey with additional being Mike rowe keyboards and guest appearances mccarrol and bell .. but they could choose to use a bass player and 3 guitars .. guides may make an appearance but I’d say it’s highly unlikely . Noel won’t take part in a nostalgia tour .. be an album and tour for that .. by the way that album will be already penned .. remember what he said he’s already got a stadium rock album to go…
