I’m sure he’s a nice guy (In fact he is, I’ve met him) but my god Gem is boring. Watch any interview back with him, when he’s asked a question.. “I dunno man” he literally has no personality about him His lack of personality extends to his guitar playing too, it's boring as fuck Yep never been in the...Gem is amazing camp.

Gem is great! Got a photo with him before a BDI gig in Philly in 2011.
He’s my favorite non Gallagher member, he is effortlessly cool and an overall very nice down to earth bloke. Love his guitar playing too.

The reunion lineup is obviously Liam, Noel, Gem, Andy, Chris, Rowe. Ft. Bonehead.
I’m no Andy fan (sorry, Andy) but I can’t see Noel leaving him out - he was with Oasis for a decade.
Chris vs. Whitey. What do you do there? I really like both.

I think we all know we’re on a budding reunion. Look at the last couple pages.
I didn’t think anything of it when Noel shoved his acoustic project aside for a more Rock album. Now it makes sense…. This is actually happening.

I often wonder if we will ever hear any Gem songs again. I mean - he wrote a couple of decent ones in the past but I don't see him ever having an outlet again

I made the mistake of googling the price of an Epiphone Nashville Sheraton recently, I nearly had heart failure 😭 it's such a shame that all of the guitars I want the most are so ludicrously expensive (don't even get me started on the signature ES-355)... This post by Sadie prompted me to finish an article that had been in the works for a few weeks about Noel's Sunburst Epiphone Sheraton - just in time for the Knebworth anniversary which is today! Yes, we're talking about the Knebworth guitar. Be Here Now, G-Mex... that one. The Nashville model is impossible to find, but thankfully Epiphone has reissued a Sheraton which is incredibly similar and can be a nice replica By the way, it was my most played guitar in the last year. Essentially as good as a Gibson, if we're being honest! Anyways, here's a shameless LINK TO THE ARTICLE (The Knebworth Sheraton – “for cheap”! - TheChiefsGuitars.com) with all the details and a pic of my Sheraton, complete with the obligatory Man City sticker

I don't see it happening. Nope. Seeing them at their peak a few times I feel lucky. Unless some act of God puts the brothers on amazing terms it isn't going to happen. Nice to dream though.

Knebworth anniversary today. What it must have felt like back then at knebworth... already queuing at the gates and the anticipation growing. It must have been an amazing day for the fans who were lucky to be there.

I'd been thinking of buying one of the new Epiphone ES-355s and then modding it a little bit to get it closer to Noel's signature model but maybe I need to rethink my plans

I'm not a fan of the satin finish, but the Custombuckers pickups are IMO the best humbuckers that Gibson makes. They put those on £5k Gibson custom shops. The same pickups are on the Gibson NG signature, by the way. To make it look like Noel's you'll have to add a gold Bigsby B7 vibrato (that is not cheap), but then you will have the stopbar holes showing. Maybe Epiphone will release one with a factory Bigsby in the future.

Guess it mustve felt pretty damn special.

Can’t say i agree with todays new ranking in The Times of the tracks on DM. For starters,
Shakermaker at 3rd best, Slide Away at 7th best?
I mean granted its a consistent LP so some good stuff was going to place low, but its questionable…

I feel old, but I don't mind. I was lucky to experience the crazy years.

In August of 2016, it was 30 years since Queen performed at Knebworth, which felt ages ago. In two years it will be Oasis' turn. The 1990's dont feel far away, but they are. The first night is better than the second night
