Wasn't She is Love on The Best of Oasis at some point? Seem to remember listening to it in the car but I'm sure we didn't ever play Heathen Chemistry. It's on Time Flies because of the fact it's a double a-side with Little By Little Oh, God, yeah, it was a single. That was the only double-A the band ever did, too, right?

If there's one change I could make to the Oasis timeline, it'd be for a Some Might Say/Acquiesce double A-side to be the only double A-side the band did, and not Little by Little/She is Love. That's a travesty that LBL/SIL was the only double A-side with how many great B-sides there were in the '90s that could've been hits as an A-side.

The biggest problem I had and still have with Little By Little/ She Is Love double a-side is the fact that it came when there was only 2 b-sides then and the fact they used up the valuable space on the single with a track also on the album and a cover, albeit a great one, meant we got nothing new. I remember at the time of it's release being absolutely pissed off at that and only bought it for the DVD version and to add to the collection.

Wow, yeah, that would have been a great lead single for Morning Glory. But it was a great lead single for Oasis. It was their first #1 and went platinum. Big time numbers. It went down as one of the bands most famous singles at the time and has continued to be thought of in high esteem. Anyone who bought it also got Acquiesce, Talk Tonight and Headshrinker. It doesn’t really matter if it was branded as a double A side. Same for LBL and She Is Love. Unless the singles were split, with different b-sides on each then it’s a true double A-side. Some bands did this in the 90s like blue and pulp.

I'm just thinking about the time that me and Chris Sharrock went to the Food Automation & Manufacturing Conference and Expo. Absolutely wild times, incredible scenes.
One particular exhibition at the conference was about beverage processors. The thing about food and beverage processors is that they have to adhere to an incredible amount of global standards before they are fit to be sold because the tubing that comes in these processors can cause a lot of issues if it doesn't meet the standard requirements. Obviously they are in place to protect human health and the environment from risks associated with a variety of hazardous chemicals that comes with the materials used in such food processors. They use a different grading in Europe and USA, however, they do crossover, which means the items can be sold globally.
Chris, being into all this stuff, he was particularly interested in food processors. The original food processor was basically a blender, they were German made. The same people also made hand driers and vacuum cleaners. They had all areas covered when you think about it. Keeping your hands clean for cooking and also hoovering up your crumbs. Fingers in every pie that company, no pun intended.
Anyway, Chris had a million and one questions about food processors, and he collected a lot of leaflets about it, enough to wallpaper his drum practice room if he was that way inclined. He's so passionate about food processors that he gives all his collection girls names, like people do with cars. During a break for lunch, we got talking to these gentleman about more environmentally friendly ways to power food processors. Chris started describing his different processors in his collection, how some are battery powered, some are solar powered, one even pedal powered for the super eco-friendly consumer. He started to talk with great affection about his favourite blender that he calls Lucy. The American gentleman called Chad who was with us asked "is that solar powered?" and Chris said "No, She's Electric" Hahaha oh how we laughed! the others didn't get it, but we certainly did.
Absolutely marvellous day. I'd love to re-live it.

The Importance of Being Idle 2. Stand By Me 3. Stop Crying Your Heart Out 4. Roll With it 5. Who Feels Love? 6. I'm Outta Time 7. Shakermaker It's interesting doing these single rankings that Coldplay clearly like to save the biggest single for second (Yellow, The Scientist, Fix You, Viva la Vida, Paradise), whereas Oasis favoured a strong lead single but to be honest seem to drop the quality a little on the second. There's only one here that I think is better than the lead single, that being The Importance of Being Idle.

Ok here's a challenge...
Alternatively...
They're kinda like underrated/overrated playlist but with a little twist.

Ok here's a challenge... Alternatively... They're kinda like underrated/overrated playlist but with a little twist. Ooh, this is right up my street. I can't really do the former as there's only a few generally disliked Oasis songs I particularly enjoy (To Be Where There's Life, the Heroes cover, High Horse Lady), but I'll have a stab at the latter: HEATHEN GEOGRAPHY1) The Hindu Times (Album Version) 2) Mucky Fingers 3) Lyla 4) Little by Little 5) I'm Outta Time 6) Shout it Out Loud 7) Turn up the Sun 8) Keep the Dream Alive 9) Born on a Different Cloud 10) Let there be Love ...So, basically HC/DBBT tracks that I just don't go back to but I know a lot of people like. I wouldn't hate this album, but I don't think it would get many replays, as even a lot of the fan favourites from 2002-2005 are pretty drab IMO.

Ok here's a challenge... Alternatively... They're kinda like underrated/overrated playlist but with a little twist. I guess how you define the popularity of a song is up to you but the way I'm doing it is by how I perceive the consensus on this forum, by how a song did in the charts and by how many plays the song has had on Spotify, Youtube and the likes. It's pretty difficult as it's a bit of a balancing act between how much you like the song and how popular you perceive it to be. I'm not specifying I would prefer one album over the other, I'm just saying I'd rather enjoy the unsuccessful one, and I wouldn't really be on board with the successful one. Unsuccessful album:
1) Shakermaker 2) Force of Nature 3) Hung in a Bad Place 4) Mucky Fingers 5) My Big Mouth 6) Magic Pie 7) I Can See a Liar 8) Step Out 9) It's Better People 10) To Be Where There's Life 11) She is Love Successful album:
1) Stand By Me 2) Stay Young 3) The Girl in the Dirty Shirt 4) Songbird 5) Don't Go Away 6) Let's All Make Believe 7) Sunday Morning Call 8) Born on a Different Cloud 9) All Around the World 10) Let There Be Love

Can someone please post the picture of that guy who held a protest sign that said "NORACISTS" in the style of the Oasis logo? Thanks folks.
