I actually think “Sister Psychosis” would have made a better album title instead of SOTSOG

What do people hate about the Street Fighting Man cover? I have always loved it.

This is a double disc playlist I have created, what do you think? Lord Don’t Slow Me Down - Oasis double album 99-09 Disc 1: 1. The Hindu Times 2. Go Let It Out 3. Lord Don’t Slow Me Down 4. Songbird 5. Guess God Thinks I’m Abel 6. Carry Us All 7. Falling Down 8. Gas Panic 9. Stop Crying Your Heart Out 10. Where Did It All Go Wrong? 11. Keep The Dream Alive 12. Born On A Different Cloud Disc 2: 1. Turn Up The Sun 2. The Turning 3. Full On 4. I Believe In All 5. Little By Little 6. Shock Of The Lightning 7. The Importance Of Being Idle 8. I’m Outta Time 9. The Boy With The Blues 10. Let There Be Love 11. Let’s All Make Believe 12. Roll It Over Which disc is better do you think? Disc 2. It feels a little more consistent and there are some better tunes on it. However, you can't discount Go Let it Out, Gas Panic!, Falling Down, and Stop Crying Your Heart Out which are four of the top 10 best (imo) songs Oasis did post-BHN. Condensing it all down to one disc would be a little tricky since you have a good flow going with both discs, but as a start, I think Go Let it Out could replace Full On and Falling Down replace I Believe in All. Some tracks worth noting that I didn't see on here are Part of the Queue, Bag it Up, Lyla, Shout it Out Loud, and Idler's Dream. Those are some damn good tracks worth adding, but overall I like the two (hypothetical) discs you put together.

I originally had Bag It Up on disc 2 but I really like Turn Up The Sun and wanted to fit it in somewhere. I do see what you mean about putting Go Let It Out and Falling Down on disc 2 but I just feel there maybe too many "singles" on one disc in a row. I am also working on a double disc playlist from 94-98 which, flow wise, is proving to be a little trickier

After googling Be Here Now, I realised that all the titles of Oasis's first three albums were later used as movie titles. Then it stopped, but it makes me wonder if there'll be another one in the future. Maybe Heathen Chemistry will be next year's big blockbuster, a scifi comedy starring Adam Sandler as the crazy caveman scientist, that somehow ends up saving the world in one way or another. Or maybe not.

Even actors have odd Liam/Oasis dreams! I know this guy from "Downton Abbey".

Seems like Disc 1 is more mellow with more ballads. And Disc 2 is more heavy, proper rock. I don’t know though. To close to call.

Better version than the original?

Better version than the original? I would agree with that. A lot of songs sound better with Liam's 90s voice but this song with its gritty edge sounds just right. I like Noel's singing on the official version, but Liam brings the proper edge this song needs.

Of course it's his view of being a drummer of Oasis in their very early years , but every story has two sides.

The early years where 13-year old Liam was sizing up much older teenagers. Ha ha

Oasis are so good, that when I tried turning them off I literally couldn't. I actually physically couldn't do it.

So it turns out Liam is quite the catch as a lady, but Noel? Well, it seems as if he's been moonlighting as an incompetent Conservative Prime Minister....

I fucking love the way Liam sounds on the "Carnation" Jam cover. I wish he had more songs sounding like this on SOTSOG. Such a unique vocal delivery from Liam. A one and done.
