I've just read on Stop Crying Your Heart Out that Record Collector are bringing out an Oasis special later this month. I guess that there will be nothing that we already know and they're bringing it out because the band have reformed. I'll no doubt buy it nearer the time though.

The last RC interview with Noel was great, we found out about unreleased stuff in it, so definitely worth looking out for this just in case. live4ever.proboards.com/thread/92824/noel-cover-record-collector-magazine

In fact I probably bought it once when there was an Oasis article but that's it. Mind you, these days I don't buy any music mags unless Noel or Liam are featured in it. Anyway, thanks for the link.

I was hoping deep down Oasis would reissue Familiar To Millions today on vinyl for its 24th birthday. I was wrong. Maybe next year for the big 2-5.

I just randomly heard ‘Champagne Supernova’ on the radio, what a song….it had to be the most played song on the radio during the summer of ‘96, probably followed by ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’.
What a time to be alive…..
God bless.

Lyla is about to be 20 years old in a few months. That’s the song that brought me to this forum, the Polish radio station leak! Where the hell does time go. Wow.

Kinda pissed because I didn't receive my DM reissue because Ochre Music failed to give me the postal code I needed to collect taxes and they won't answer my emails on the subject of a refund!!!

Listened to (What's the Story) Morning Glory before, in the background while I was internet shopping, and it blew my socks off all over again.
The spirit and energy of the recordings, the consistent greatness of the material, the impeccable rasp and yet purity of Liam's voice, the riotous racket of the guitars, Whitey's drumming... Even the mix is pretty good. Loud and crunchy and slightly fatiguing, sure, but clear-headed too and generally successful in what (I presume) they were going for. Unlike Be Here Now, there's still a nice amount of bass in the mixes, and the drums aren't muffled.
It's definitely my second favourite album of all time (behind Abbey Road and just ahead of 'The White Album' -- Definitely Maybe is probably my #4, though I'm not absolutely certain on that).

We are a little over a month out until Noel's Christmas Eve gift (and later New Year's Eye gift). Would be amazing if Noel finally dropped "Slow" demo.

He actually gave us three drops last year - the Abbey Road sessions were dropped on 12th Dec. That said, I can see us getting a big fat nothing this year too. 😅

Here’s a fascinating stat… The Roller has 7.6 million views on YouTube.
Don’t know how. Perhaps Beady Eye were more successful than we give them credit for.
