I like the compression and brickwalling. Just turn up the volume and let the music blow your mind That's what I'm in for!

Just finished reading Getting High by Paolo Hewitt. A weird book, the backstory with Peggy and Noel's & Liam's childhood was interesting, but somehow he managed to write about the Oasis touring days in a dull and lifeless manner.

It's my favourite book about Oasis Mine too. Although Hewitt’s writing style is poor and often a jumbled mess. But I did enjoy him telling all he stories of the Oasis madness. Proper mental, that band!

I just finished it and there were some funny bits but compared to Tony's book it wasn't that interesting read. I also felt like he was constantly brown nosing Noel in everything.

How fuckin' beautiful Listen Up is ?! Gorgeous track. It definitely is. I love everything of this song. I can see why this song wasn't on Definitely Maybe though (intro). Anyway, my Oasis thoughts of the day is: Look around at all the plastic people Who live without a care Try to sit with me around my table But never bring a chairIn his book, Tony McCarroll said about someone like "I would drink with them, but won't share my bottle with them. You know what I mean?". Yes, Tony, I know what you mean.

Oasis a day keeps the doctor away Given you don't blast it out too loud. (Not sure if that's even possible.)

Saw this on twitter, Andy Bell on The Nature of Reality..
"I taught Noel the guitar parts and then let him roll with it. Gem played bass on it. I don't play on it at all. I wanted to make sure that it sounded right in the control room where it was being played."
You fucked up! You fucked up!

I can´t listen to HC and DOYS until the end without skipping more than one track. And that´s saying something when i don´t skip Little James on SOTSOG.

Every Oasis album since BHN has at least one skippable track.

I just got the book "Oasis: A Year on the Road" by Paul Slattery for a few pounds. It's got some nice pictures from the early Oasis tours which I hadn't seen before.

Cringey and boring. love the intro, the fact that the 3 verses are different, great vox by Liam for that era I bought the album when it was released, probably one of those cases you HAD to be there good times for the band and the fans THE SUN WILL SHINE ON YOU AGAIN
