In art therapy today, the therapist asked me what music to put on. I told her Oasis, but not Wonderwall. As the sound of a jet began to play, I was surprised she put on D’You Know What I Mean. As that track ended, and faded into guitar feedback of My Big Mouth, it was clear that she was playing the full Be Here Now album of 1997. I expressed my surprise at her choice, and she told me she loves that album. And with that I was able to brainwash my peers with the brilliance of Oasis. It’s all about the little things. By the end, everyone was mad fer it, I am certain. guigsysEstringUncle Noel told you in '94: "The little things they make me so happy..." |

Working on a mix of the two DYKWIMs. So far:
- Kept the plane
- The intro and first set of verses is a bit too trippy for me, gonna have to pick one version over the other. For the verses, I think rethink.
- The bridges and chorus sound AMAZING. The strings are there but they're mixed in with thick layers of guitars. I'm really happy with it.
- The glissando bit is the same, both orchestra and electric guitar
- I've cleared up the second set of verses to focus on the rethink, but I'll have to get into the nitty-gritty of making sure it doesn't sound too clear too suddenly
- Guitar solo sounds great
- Focused the outro on the original and shortened it a bit.

Definitely 10, all my friends ask me why I listen to this music so I tell them that their music taste is bad and mine is good. Please praise my intelligence, I'm only 15 remember. |

The mix of DYKWIMs sounds really, really, really good on speakers, but you can hear some clipping on headphones. I'll spend a bit longer on it today but I'm really happy. The only problem I can't really avoid is the last chorus sounding a bit trippy because you have to turn both the original and the rethink up, and you get a bit of that "BECAAAAAUUSSSEEEE THE SKY IS BLUEEEEEEEE" psychedelic sound.
