Ryan Adams playing Supersonic clip Wow that sounds so great  ! Seems like they did a good cover. Kinda funny though that Ryan's version sounds more oasis-like than Noel's. The NGHFB-version is okay, but I don't think it brings out the best from the song. I really liked Noel's solo-version when he played it all by himself at the soundcheck for TCT in 2012 (or something), it was beautiful and all, but 99 out of 100 times this is the way I prefer the song to be played. Loud and with electric guitars in all it's glory. The punch that song has when it goes into the chorus is unbelievable. |

That's the Only bad thing of being a Noel Gallagher/Oasis. I read an article on Music Aficionado about the peppers and how Under The Bridge almost didnt made it on BSSM. Crazy to think that it almost didnt made it! I know... crazy, isn't it? (And "Soul to Squeeze" was left off, too!) P.S. Happy you like the site! |

noel earlier in the year on the BOTMI: 'thank god i will never be singing that one again'.  thanks a lot for leaving that one off the boston setlist, noel. i have to admit, that pisses me off just a little. |

Should it ever happen (it has to, hasn't it?), let's keep track of news and dates here. If it doesn't this empty thread will be the remainder of our utterly broken hope. I'm thinking maybe June/July? I'd love if Noel came back but no it definitely doesn't need to happen. Probably very expensive to tour in America especially for an album no one bought but the die hards. Either way, if he comes NYC will be on the docket.  Was at the NYC show.... AMAZING. Was 6 or so rows back on the left side and 5 empty seats next to me for friends/family of the band. Ended up getting bombed afterwards with a bunch of them sans Noel. Completely random. Needless to say, work the next day was very difficult. Can't party like I used to anymore. They were hinting that he was going to come back for a one off NY show towards end of year, beginning of next but I doubt that now. |
