So he lied in the press conference when he said he was gonna play songs he's never played before. Oh well. Maybe he changed his mind and didn't go for whatever setlist he'd planned first. Hope he's changing the setlist later in the leg, but happy with Sad Song, Spaceman and Listen Up. Would've loved to see Dying of The Light, there though. Seems a bit strange to play so little from the record he is supposedly promoting. noel LIED?? NO WAY. Heh. I know. Surprising, isn't it?

Wonderwall on band version Sounds slightly better than it used to, but fuck, just sing it the way you wrote it! Love how most people in the audience just sing the regular version.

He's gotta let the Ryan Adams version float on by. It was cool in 2002. Not cool in 2016. If Noel released Wonderwall that way in 1995 it would not have been a transatlantic hit like it achieved in present form.

I like it, its abit of blend between the original and the ryan adams version, least hes brought some of the energy back and I like the guitar parts in the background, probably the closet thing your going to get to Noel playing the original.
...as for the whole setlist, Noels playing it safe yet again, nothing new other than listen up which hes already been playing in the acoustic gigs...

I like to hope that he still has some fire left in that department. I could be wrong.

Here's a "holy shit" moment...my hometown of Columbus, Ohio, is hosting some new music festival July 15-17. NGHFB will be announced as part of the lineup that goes live tomorrow, but a DJ tweeted this spoiler first:

First round is on me. I can't fucking believe he's coming to MY FREAKING TOWN.

Interesting that he;ll be in the midwest at that time. Lollapalooza is about 10 days after the conclusion of that festival. He still has a hole around later July. Considering he's already doing the S.A. Lolla, it'd be a pretty good bet that he'll be doing the Chicago date too.

They keep announcing tour dates for the US bit by bit..sort of annoying. Why not just announce them all at once?

Noel to play the Pemberton Music Festival mid July (I'll post the exact date when I can find it). He's on the bill, in the smaller text on the second line, most posts I've seen online yesterday after the line up was posted didn't even mention him. At the top of the line up are Pearl Jam, Whiz Khalifa, Ice Cube, and more I can't remember. I'll post the link in the minute.

New to the board but been an onlooker for a while. I too am looking forward to the New York gig. Me and a pal are flying from Manchester on the 3rd for the nights for this gig. Anyone heard of support yet, suprised nothings been announced.
