1. Merry Xmas Everybody (Slade) - the definitive 2. Happy Xmas (War Is Over!) (Lennon) - great peace song 3. Driving Home For Christmas (Chris Rea) - just lovely.

I wont vote yet as I need to do some listening again.
I like these two though, little less mainstream though.

And now I feel the urge to listen to Christmas songs *evil laugh* Feel free to post any other songs, of course. I just posted the most famous/obvious ones. I myself voted for Fairytale of New York, All I Want For Christmas Is You, and 2000 Miles (the Coldplay version, actually).

Shout outs for Lennon Happy Xmas (war is over) and of course the Kinks Father Christmas, and Chuck Berry Run Run Rudolph.

The John Lennon one, the Slade one, classics such as "It's the most wonderful time of the year", Last Christmas (so wrong and cheesy, so good to sing along to) among others.

I don't really listen to Christmas albums but this is one of my favourites.

Wonderful Christmas Time is shite though, innit? It is indeed. I cringe every time I hear it. But who knows, maybe there are some hardcore McCartney fans on here who'll vote for it... Hardly a surprise Merry Xmas Everybody is winning so far. I'm fond of it, but I prefer Noel's version to the original one. I like Sinatra's Christmas songs too.

Oh, I don't know about that, abresolaire... Noel's version is great, and it worked particularly well over the end of that episode of The Royle Family, but you can't beat Noddy and his "IT'S CHRISTMAAAAAAAS!" bit

Voting for Roy Wood because Roy Wood, but in all honesty i probably prefer Fairytale of NY or something modern; like Christmas Lights or All I Want For Christmas Is New Year's Day.
