I normally don't post comments on the forum but I felt compelled to respond to Bon Jovi's comments that Oasis's music is terrible and they couldn't fill a bar.
If Oasis starts filling stadiums with 50-year old women with big 80's style hair and Liam Gallagher starts doing guest appearances on the 'Gilmore Girls'...we should all kill ourselves. Bon Jovi is an abomination to music.
(Note: All due respect to 50 year old women and the Emmy winning show Gilmore Girls)

Ha! Not even worth a response. Bon Jovi is the cheesiest, most nothing of a person who ever disgraced us with his presence.

Yeah, their last album is just horrible. Have a Nice Day had some promise (and by some I mean none) but they should just quit.

Bon Jovi? If this is true, Noel must be having a fuckin' riot over it. Bon Jovi are shit, always have been and always will.

I'd be more worried if Bon Jovi said he LIKED Oasis' music.

Bon Jovi should spend more time worrying about his arena football team and less about what great bands, unlike his, are doing.

Singer JON BON JOVI has launched a scathing attack at British rockers OASIS and pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS - insisting their music is so bad they "couldn't fill a bar".
The Livin'On A Prayer hitmaker also hits out at troubled Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty and pokes fun at soccer ace David Beckham in the new issue of Glamour magazine. He says of Williams, "That guy? He couldn't fill a bar. He couldn't even sell 500 tickets. "(Oasis) couldn't fill a bar, either - and they're full of themselves. He adds of Doherty, "We're not familiar of anything other than his antics and the fact that he's always in trouble - I've never heard a single one of his songs." But Bon Jovi's most bitter comments were reserved for LA Galaxy's Beckham, who he ridiculed by asking, "Is he past his prime?"

lol Noel has been talking that way for 13 years and you guys have lapped it up, why can't JBJ run his mouth off a little too?
Robbie Williams ad Oasis can't fill seats in a full US tour, that's why they play only like 10 or shows only in certain parts of the country whereas Bon Jovi plays 50. And David Beckham is past his priime. Anybody who wants to argue these facts just wants to argue that's it.

Meanstreak, Bon Jovi can't run his mouth cuz he sucks. His music sucks, his hair sucks, his leather pants suck, his cut-off shirts suck, his acting sucks, his appearance on American Idol sucked, his country crossover songs suck, his arena football team sucks ( i don't that but im on a roll here) and most of all, he sucks. Noel can run his mouth for 13,000 years cuz he wrote Definitely Maybe and he's a legend. Oh, another thing... take that Toby Keith quote off your avatar. He REALLY sucks.

Seriously!!! I remember when Bon Jovi was so scared of the Grunge movement back in the early '90s, they made a video depicting all those artists and trying to make fun of them b/c no one cared about Bon Jovi anymore.
He blinked!
I wonder if Bon Jovi knows that Oasis..........10 years past their own prime, sold out MSG in his own backyard in under an hour.
Knowing that his fans were leaving and the fact that American Country music is almost pop rock now, he decided to go that route and finally shut the door on his original 'pop metal' fans.
I'd like to see how well he is welcomed now in the UK by fans of Oasis, Robbie and Pete Doherty. Better have some more bodyguards!!

lol I'm sure Noel has slagged JBJ off plenty of times before, why can't it be good for the goose if it's good for the gander?
Perhaps you guys didn't realize that Bon Jovi was inducted into the UK hall of fame back in November, and they were slated to be the opening 2 shows in the new Wembley stadium? Maybe you were unaware that "Blaze of Glory" was nominated for an oscar and won a golden globe? Maybe you never heard that they have sold about 40 million records in the USA but 120 million over the entire world? Slippery When Wet has moved close to 30 million by itself!
Sure, Noel wrote DM and he absolutely is a legend, but I don't see how what JBJ did is any different than Noel ranting about American bands that can't sell in the UK.

I don't agree with that at all, why can't someone broaden their musical style? Would you say that since Kid Rock made a song with Sheryl Crow and sang with Hank Williams Jr. he has "shut the door" on his original rap-metal fans? Just like JBJ he wanted to make something different and will probably go back and forth etc. And he was right about Pete Doherty, practically no one in the USA has ever heard anything from him music wise, we just hear about the dozen or so drug arrests and the stupid behavior etc.
