When Arctic Monkeys will release a new album? A year or two probably. TLSP will run for the duration of this year most likely. Anyway, the leak is on, just Google TLSP VK.com and it will come up. Its really strong. EDIT: On the torrent sites now too. FYI, anything at 320 is certainly a transcode.

When Arctic Monkeys will release a new album? I'd guess mid-late 2017. I don't think The Last Shadow Puppets have any gigs beyond their festivals at the end of August and I imagine Alex will just move straight onto Arctic Monkeys then with the album hopefully coming out a year or so afterwards. I imagine Alex already has a fair few ideas for Arctic Monkeys songs anyway.

Wonderful track. itunes.apple.com/us/post/idsa.52dd5ecb-f501-11e5-9be2-1efaae453174Record is fairly strong. I'm not as floored as I was by the first one, but this one seems to be a little deeper, with a few tracks that may take a few listens. I really dislike Bad Habits, but thats not indicative of the whole record. An easy way to differentiate the sounds for me is the first record is the 60s, this one is more 70s. Looking forward to the Webster Hall gig shortly.

Listened to the album once. Kinda samey and generic after awhile. Not sure how often I'll revisit this project. Bring on the Monkeys!

I think aviator, miracle aligner and the last one are nice but I don't mad about it. I know I will be listening a lot on my way to college at 7am. Is the kind of music for that.

This one seems to be a grower to me. Hopefully it has the same impact in terms of Monkeys direction. After their first it completely changed the way Alex looked at music and then we got Humbug and new sounds Hopefully this does the same for Alex and the Monkeys

This album is great! Listen to it a couple of more times. Yes it's different then the first one, but it is really good. Sweat dreams, TN is filler. The rest is up there.

Good album! Some songs have a The Age of the Understatement feeling. Others a Suck it and see vibe, and others are like Miles Kane songs (Bad Habits specially). Can't complain!

It's better on second listen, especially the first half. Still not knocking me out though. What would Miles do if he never met Alex? Jam tribute band tours at local pubs?

Just had my first listen, and all I can think is that messrs Turner and Kane seem like perfectly nice young men, and I suppose I'm sort of glad that they're getting laid so much, but nowhere near as glad as this record seems to expect me to be. On AM, it sounded like Alex Turner was getting plenty, but like any acerbic northern lyricist (read: Tim Booth, or even, god forbid, Morrissey, rather than the brothers Gallagher) he had the decency to sound miserable about it. But while his conceits were witty and innovative on Suck it and See, he's now so focused on his Turnerisms that he's reducing the women In his lyrics to furniture. Which is not to suggest that he's not still remarkably clever (after Matt Berninger I'd rate him against any other current rock and roll lyricist), just that he's clever enough to know better. As, I suspect, is Mr. Kane. Tbh I'd rate him as an equal partner here, but I can't imagine the years we waited between records were his call. Interesting that no-one refers to this as his 'side project. Anyway, my point is that the lyrics don't do much to counteract the way he's portrayed here www.spin.com/2016/03/the-last-shadow-puppets-interview/, even though Turner seems more at fault lyrically. At the end of the day, the reason artists make side-project records is to spread their wings and get ideas out of their systems. And the reason fans put up with them is so that artists on a hot streak can get their lesser material out in the world without spoiling whatever hot streak they're on at their day job. Musically and lyrically there's plenty here to enjoy, and I don't mean to suggest it's a bad record. But bad reactions to indulgent side project records provide a reality check necessary to maintaining artistic integrity once you're a decade or two in, and while the lads don't need any course-correction musically, perhaps the unwelcome press attention will make them rethink some of their attitudes. Oh and I love the strings.

I'm loving the album. There are no shit songs, but a highly level stuff. Excepting from good album songs like Element of Surprise and She Does the Woods, all the others could've been a single.
9/10, for sure. I'm back to the Team Turner.

They played the entire album at Club 69, in Brussels. It was broadcasted and wow, what a really great performance. They are doing it very well, could continue with this duo and not get back for their AM/solo life.

It took me a while to get into the album, its definitely a grower. Probably lacks the first listen and you love it of the debut album. Miracle Aligner, Dream Synopsis, Pattern, Aviation, The title track, Dracula Teeth and Sweet Dreams TN are all fantastic songs. Love the album don't know quite yet which one I prefer.
Turners 7th straight number 1 album in the U.K too to booth.

Caught them live the other night in NYC. Felt that the new stuff was the weakest out of the setlist, but largely it was a good performance. Patterns was arguably the most tepid track I've ever heard performed by an act including Alex Turner and thats counting 4x Monkeys gigs and now TLSP. Ironically, I was not a fan at all of Bad Habits but it was fantastic live. They also did their cover of She's So Heavy which is/was superb. Good show overall, not great. I was glad to see they brought a string quartet with them. Would've been better in a strong venue acoustically and less dickheads watching the show through their phones.
