I love the first album, like the arctics and am a bit of a fan of Miles solo but I am so disappointed with this. Really hope this isn't an indication of the quality of the album.

Knobheads. Still though, loved their last album. Will be sure to give Bad Habits a listen tomorrow. I loved their first album too. But they look trying so hard to look like "bad guys" on that pic, especially Miles. I think a guy like Miles Kane is better served being a member of a band. His solo career has become too much cliche mod rock. He's got that Kasabian arrogance about him. You know, acts like he's conquered the globe several times over yet is only big in small circles.........very small circles........ He's like a copy of a copy of a copy of your favorite cassette tape from 1988.

He's like a copy of a copy of a copy of your favorite cassette tape from 1988. His first solo album was good, but with his crappy second, he didn't know where he was going to - a lost child. Instead of finding his own identity, he turned to be a copy cat. Alex Turner is talented, but the arrongance of those two on that pic irritaes me. You can try very hard to act like a tough man, but without what you got inside, you're nothing more than a image in your head.

The difference between Miles' first and second album is easy:
Half of the first one was co-written with Alex Turner.

Judging from these comments I was expecting it to be a lot worse than it was. It wasn't fantastic but it wasn't dreadful. The video is pretty shit. Hopefully the rest of the album has more Alex on it.

Not sure whether I'll try or not, Usher Hall tickets are £35 before fees so by the time I add fees and travel into it that's about £50. I'll most likely just wait and see them at Glastonbury.

I'll most likely just wait and see them at Glastonbury. 42 Euro + about 3 or 4 Euro service charge for ticketmaster + a membership of the venue = 50 Euro for Paradiso is a joke. I've seen them 8 years ago and it was great and very promissing, but I'll pass this time. I have The Coral a day later and I rather spend my money for Manics who's playing in the same venue 3 weeks later.

The first single of the new album is below par, far too Miles Kaney for me. Lets be honest most want to hear Alex's material. Although from some of the interviews they've done the interviewers have said the album is great, so this might be a slight misstep.
The First album is a underrated gem, probably has some of Alex Turner's best material (My Mistakes were Made For You, is one of the greatest things he's ever written). It's definitely Kane's best work.
Got tickets for their second date in Dublin, can't wait to see them play but hoping the second album is a lot better then the first single. Hopefully it's just Brick by Brick moment , when the resulting album was one of the best things Turner's done.

Is it wrong that I'm not even surprised by the incident in this story? If you know what Rachel Brodsky looks like it's the look of the girls who probably hang outside his dressing room. Poor form Miles. Also, Miles moved to LA? Interesting.
