Found the band Big Thief yesterday night, and I'm blown away. Their debut (released in may this year) is really good. Catchy indie pop with some rough guitar tunes and some cosy ballads. Have a listen!

Distance Inbetween - The Coral, 4th March Painting Of A Panic Attack - Frightened Rabbit 8th April These People - Richard Ashcroft, 20th May Be Here Now Reissue? What's that? Well you got 3 of the 4. Shame the missing one is what this ENTIRE forum is foaming at the mouth over. Please Noel, P-L-E-A-S-E!!!!!!! Finally got around to exploring more and more of Frightened Rabbit. Downloaded the first 3 tracks off their new album and been spinning them pretty consistently over the last 4-5 days. Good stuff.

It's a bit "polished" for Rabbit's, definitely influenced by Aaron Dessner, I must say. Please check "The Midnight Organ Fight". It's still my most favourite album of theirs. By the way, I went to see Chan (Marshall) again last night. What a charming devil is that.

I know a few songs from The Midnight Organ Fight and they are all really great. I think I need to listen to them more.
I've discovered so many great bands from tv show Chuck, including Oasis. It has amazing soundtrack.

It has amazing soundtrack. I got into Oasis because of Chuck. I didn't recognize DLBIA on there, especially since I had never even heard a Noel-Gallagher fronted Oasis song. but I recognized the style as being like Oasis IIRC and googled the song after hearing it and fell in love with the song. I probably listened to it 5+ times that day. (I had randomly decided to listen to Wonderwall a while before that and also listened to Stop Crying Your Heart Out, I think Stand By Me all on youtube. I had heard Champagne Supernova and Live Forever on the radio before then too) Also, isn't there a new NGHFB album coming out with all new material? That's what I'll be looking forward to.

Oh nice I'm a huge fan of that show. I have a "Chuck playlist" in Spotify so I added DLBIA when I was watching the show. Then one day I thought that song is really good and I want to hear more songs from them. Went to youtube, clicked Wonderwall and recognized it immediataly. I listened to a few more songs but that's it actually. I didn't really listen to full albums back then. Usually just their most popular songs and that's it. Then I got my first car. It didn't have aux plug in so I had to use CDs. I went to check my dad's CD collection and found 3 Oasis CDs (WTSMG, Time Flies and Heathen Chemistry). Chose the first and that's how it really started

Can't wait for Songs Of Experience by U2. Come on now, that guy is far too young to be listening to what will eventually be the new U2 album. Still a lot of ageing to go!

I keep hearing good things over and over. Gotta jump in. go for it. It's fantastic. I bought the vinyl! I love the strings on Rule the World. So I checked out the credits, Rosie Danvers delivered the whole thing. She worked with Kanye West, Noel on both solo albums, Coldplay in 2011 etc.

Wow, the opening track on Michael Kiwanuka's new album is fantastic. Does anybody else imagine this is how Noel should have done "Everybody's On The Run". It's got killer strings, Ennio Morricone choirs and David Gilmour/Wish You Were Here style guitars. Great stuff.
