Great news! Thanks mossy! Really loved "The Butterdly House". It was my album of 2010 together with "High Violet" by The National. Hopefully they'll tour in mainland of Europe next year too.

You should have seen them in the 80 s. When they were relevant. Not a Caberet act

Also the new book by Patti Smith is on my wish list too.

Just got my ticket for Amsterdam. Panicked I'd missed out then! UK dates aren't on sale until Fri. Normally tickets go on sale on Friday overhere too, but due to tickets for The Cure go on sale tomorrow and for Coldplay on Friday, I think ticketmaster has split the dates. Good luck with getting yours!

You can also get a signed 7" single from the guys in the online store. I know that turns on mimmihopps but she probably already has their John Handcocks.

Thanks for the reminder! I'm gonna go and get tickets for Cologne soon! How are they live? Quite simple, a very few banter, but they're great live. Hopefully they'll cover one or 2 songs this time too. You can also get a signed 7" single from the guys in the online store. I know that turns on mimmihopps but she probably already has their John Handcocks. Indeed, I do.

Has it really been over 5 solid years since an "official" Coral album? Wow.

One of the few bands that don't disappoint you in today's modern music scene, another sadly neglected band who should be far bigger then they are. Once again their new material is catchy and enjoyable on first listen.
They are a great live act, had seen them when they supported the Arctic Monkeys along with Supergrass back in 2007. A fantastic gig. Their first two albums are stone cold classics, their third was a bit hit and miss for me but Roots and Echoes and Butterfly House were both excellent. Their solo stuff is very good too.

Love the songs. The Coral ARE back! Looking forward to see them again after 5 years. PS: Our dear eva, would you mind to rip those acoustic tracks and interview for us The Coral fans if you got a little time to spare, please?
