May have been mentioned before, but I think Spain definitely got the best artwork for the documentary... Love the original logo, so...

This film didn't need Be Here Now. It's not about that chapter. It's about the wild ride on the way............up! It's been very disappointing for me, to see how many so-called professional film critics have criticised the film for it ending with Knebworth. I saw one pedantic little thing in The Guardian, where the nameless man who bothered to write 200 words up on it, cried something along the lines of "they may as well have called it Oasis: The Glory Years!" Well, yes, they may as well have. Because that is what the film's about. It even says so, in the fucking synopsis: So to complain that the film didn't talk about the band's subsequent decline and eventual split (as the Guardian review did), would be like complaining that The Beatles: Eight Days A Week - The Touring Years didn't talk of how Abbey Road was made. Totally invalid as a form of professional criticism.
Unfortunately though, that isn't the most feeble excuse to crowbar a criticism in there, I've seen. In one lukewarm review I saw, some silly sod was decrying the quality of the 'archive footage', and how it in no way compared to the quality of material dug up for the Amy Winehouse documentary. That's like going back to the original Star Wars and moaning, "well, that doesn't look very good, does it? You can tell that that Death Star thing is just a model they've zoomed in on... How come they didn't use top-of-the-range CGI?" Of course the archive footage looks ropey - it's over 20 years old, and nearly all of it filmed off early models of camcorders. But that doesn't mean you can level it as a criticism, to the filmmakers. Mat Whitecross had what he had at his disposal, just as George Lucas did, in the late 70s, but both of them made the best of it, and I think they were able to put those scant resources to good effect.
But, at least I can take heart in these arguments against the film all being so baseless. Apart from something RichDork said, about the band members coming and going feeling a bit "procedural", I haven't agreed with one thing that's been said against the film. So to me, that must mean supersonic is a winner.

Probably in the categories of best (music) documentary of the year. It would be insane to see it not winning any awards.

As much as i'd love to see them reform minus Bell and Gem i think it's done. I get the impression Noel favours legacy more than wanting it for the fans or to make Liam happy. He's minted, has less in common with his brother these days and in his own words is "a bit of a vagina." We've seen it with his good pal Weller and The Jam, also the sibling rivalling with The Kinks... two bands who heavily influenced Noel... Besides, Noel's mrs has turned him into a right puff pastry! I had hoped to take my daughter to see Oasis someday.. in the unlikely event that was to ever happen.. my job is done. Well blow me www.nme.com/news/music/the-kinks-glastonbury-2017-1825237

I asked Mat Whitecross about the Water Rats 94 and Dublin 96 video's. He says Mark Szazy has the Water Rats video, and Tim Abbot has the Dublin video. Would be great to have these in full, but I doubt we will ever get them.

There's a lot of interesting stuff that could be told in a new documentary:
- Mtv unplugged with Liam heckling - US tour 96: Liam refusing to go on tour, Noel quitting tour - Be Here Now album hype, tour & backlash - Members quitting the band, recording of SOTSOG with drunk Bonehead & Liam off the booze - Noel quitting the SOTSOG tour (Barcelona incident), Oasis minus Noel,Liam drunk at Wembley, Split rumours. - Noel taxi accident HC tour, Liam getting his teeth kicked in in Munich - Exit Alan White - Failed Death In Vegas sessions - Oasis quite succesful again with HC & DBTT - Noel getting kicked off the stage in Canada DOYS tour - Tensions between Liam & Noel leading up to the fatal Paris gig & split

Finally watched this on Saturday. It was really good and especially Liam came across really well. Very funny and all. However, I did think it dragged a bit at moments.
Don't take my word for gospel though, I've got the attention span of a cucumber.
