AHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA It'd be nice if you engaged with my actual argument, which has some nuance, instead of pulling out of context. I think Oasis was an unbelievable live band IF YOU WERE THERE. The feeling of community, Liam's awesome stage presence, hearing those great songs one after another at top volume--the whole package was transcendant. But sitting at home it's a lot easier to hear the real drawbacks of Oasis live--the awful pacing of some of the songs, the lack of musicianship, the poor mixes, the (at times) substandard vocals--all of the things that don't matter when you're screaming along to your favorite songs with 20 or 40,000 people. With a few exceptions--most of them acoustic, the studio versions of all of these songs are far superior. So are you telling me that you don't listen to any Oasis live bootlegs or watch any of the live DVDs? Oasis as a live band were and always will be an amazing experience whether you were there or not

Glad I went to the theater to catch the film, as the blu-ray doesn't seem like it will be sold in the USA. Probably will buy it from amazon UK soon I guess. It was great and well worth another watch.

Not sure if U.K. dvd's/blu-ray's play on U.S. electronics, with the regions and all. I know I've had trouble in the past playing midget clown porn dvd's from the U.K. on my dvd player. God bless.

Finally watched it last night. A pretty solid movie, I would have liked more behind the scenes recording the albums footage. Liam's singing at Knebworth sounds atrocious, no wonder they haven't released it on DVD.

It needs to be from 1995 or 1996. Their prime.

Funny thing is Andy and Gem were in Oasis longer than Bonehead and Guigs. True true but they missed all the glory and legendary gigs. Quantity doesn't beat quality. Fair enough. What's the lineup if there's a reunion tour?

Lennon2217I know I was unsurprisingly being a WUM I think the boat for a live album with all the gigs online etc. has sailed, the time to do it should have been straight after Knebworth for an attempt at 'Frampton Comes Alive' sales, another lost opportunity from the 1996-98 era.

biblical, does your copy which you bought via bol feature the deleted scene? Mine only has the interview with Mat Whitecross and trailer as "extra". I'm thinking to buy the UK version as well as I can't wait for my friend in England send me the HMV exclusive for Christmas.

The UK BluRay is region b only. Anyone looking to import should keep that in mind!

I just saw it and I'm not certain about it. The nostalgia is one thing, but the rise is one of the most documented eras for any band. They were everywhere and watching it again without detailing the fall and subsequent break-up seems incomplete. It is essentially Lord Don't Slow Me Down without being timely. I don't understand why it was made, particularly now.
Noel wasn't much of a singer early on, but he definitely was a better choice for Sad Song than Liam. Liam sounds mediocre at best on that version.
