Took my aunt to see it this afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed. Hadn't read any reviews or knew anything about it going in. Didn't realize the story ended at knebworth. Would've liked a complete history. But even just covering then band for the first few years it still skipped over a bunch

Supersonic absolutely blew my mind! If anyone from the production team happens to read this thread: thank you so much, you've all done a great job!! Oasis mean so much to me and what they did and what they mean to people will never be repeated again by another band! I couldn't held back tears watching this film!
And I'm not gonna lie, I would be super excited and cry tears of joy if they ever decided to get the band back together, but the most important thing imo would be Liam and Noel getting on again! They're brothers and went through so much together, I'm sure they mean a lot to each other and were actually much closer than many siblings are. Life is way to short and it's been years since they fall out!
And on a random side note: Watching Supersonic reminded me again how young Liam was when all this legendary stuff happened! He was only a teenager when it all started with the band and by the time they hit Knebworth he was still only 23 years old! Amazing!

Another thing you begin to realize again.........Noel has serious problems with recording his albums.
- Definitely Maybe (3 attempts) - Be Here Now (Failed first mixing) - SOTSOG (band members quit, parts redone) - Heathen Chemistry (Recorded in patches, no Liam vocals for months) - DBTT (Failed with DIV, failed doing it himself, Sardy time) - HFB (bad first recording of drums)

If you weren't a fan of the band you might think they broke up afterwards. They were never as successful but they still had five number one albums after. The ending is just very vague for non fans.

I already known the story and lived through it. Overall, it was nice to see unseen footage and so on. Happy Bonehead got credit. Truly, being young and in that era was magically. Even with the death of grunge and before the Spice Girls. It was creative time with many fantastic bands.
I would like to see Oasis back together, but not with Andy Bell.

Just met Liam and had a beer with him Album should be out before/in summer, recording is not quite done yet but it's in the making, Bonehead 'might be a part of it' but there will be a few more surprises, can't say anything about live right now. I'm gonna write more tomorrow but this could be interesting I thought What a great night! Saw the film the 3rd time now and could just watch it over and over again. Brought a friend who wasn´t that much into Oasis but he loved the movie too and said he will check out their albums soon As for meeting Liam, we met him in a pub near the cinema, Bonehead was also there with a few other people who I don´t know. They both looked ace. Liam wore a Loch Lomond look alike jacket, Bonehead wore some fur jacket looking like... I don´t know We asked them for an autograph and Liam said we should take a seat. So of course you don´t say no to that. After some smalltalk about the movie I asked if he could tell me something about his new album, he said that there are 14 songs which have potential to go on the record but it´s not finalized yet. He wants to release it in summer next year or maybe a bit earlier. He will tour it but he doesn´t know yet who else will stand on stage with him. He asked if I can play an instrument and I said I just can put my arms behind my back and act like him - he replied that that´s already his part and one like that should be enough on a stage Then I asked who records the album with him in the studio but he said he can´t talk about that right now "but the bald guy over there" (Bonehead) might help him out once in a while but we won´t be disappointed and there might be a few surprise guests. Also asked Bonehead what he´s up to at the moment and he just said he´s just enjoying reliving the 90s with this movie and having a good time with Liam. Before they had to leave for an interview Liam brought us another beer saying that´s for not asking about Noel or a reunion Already met him a few times and also had a few chats with him already and he always was a great guy but this was probably the best time. Fun, honest, polite - what a guy! Just read this post of yours. What a great story and thanks for sharing it with us. I only met Liam once. He was very nice and kind, very gentle, completely different than I expected. He has something, not everyone has it and it's called charisma. People who ever met him, know what I mean. Top guy. I'm happy that he's getting back on track now and hopefully to see him on stage sometime next year. As for the documentary, I've watched it twice in a cinema and gonna pick a DVD tomorrow. Can't wait to watch it again!

I can confirm after the second time of watching it.. it is still fucking amazing.
I seem to be going back in time in my life because i just can not seem to shake the 90s off. Those days truly were the best. I am proud to say i got into Oasis in 94.. the same year i lost my dad. A 15 year old lad finding his way in life when up pops this band who guided me through the bad times. This band changed my life forever..
What relevence the above has to the thread is anyone's guess but i've had 3 large glasses of wine because this band can do that to a man.
Laters! X

little disappointing that the limited edition HMV version says 'exclusive 25 minute bonus feature' and it turns out to just be an interview with the director, was expecting some bonus footage or deleted visual scenes

Bonehead really was the Ringo presence of the group. A good thing. Trusty comrade.

Supersonic ends perfectly. A chapter before the dark times. MTV Unplugged fiasco, MTV Video awards embarrassment and canceled USA tour. Yikes.
