Go! I'm going for the second time tomorrow. Pretty much worth it for the sound alone. Really cannot sit still during the scenes where there's music...

I went to see 'Supersonic' the night it opened and it was brilliant. For someone like me or anyone else who's a member on this forum it doesn't give you much new information, just the footage but it was great to see and hear the story being told all over again, and what a story it was. What they achieved was huge. It'll never be repeated again because of the state of the industry and the times we live in and the times ahead. Oasis where and are truely the last great Rock 'n' Roll band.

Like others have said, for fans it doesn't offer that much new info BUT that doesn't matter at all...
Went to see it the second time last night - the jokes were just as funny and the cringe parts were....well.... just as embarrassing ;-)

I enjoyed it. Would have preferred it to include more of their career, at least including the be here now era but right up to 2009 really. Still 2 hours worth just spread out rather than it looking like after knebworth they vanished. When they still went on another 13 years!!!

Not meaning to be rude or anything and obviously, that's your opinion but..... to me, your post is kinda missing the point of the whole film really....

I would leave it as it is and put out a deluxe versión with some of the most importante events of the following 13 years(ie Wembley, the Fight about Anais, the brawl in Berlin, maybe omit the stuff from LDSMD and get to the point of what happened in that night in París).

I get what you mean and I'm sure, as fans, most of us would like to see a film about that too! But, as I tried to say above, this film / doc starts and ends where it does for a reason... i.e. regardless whether it's 2 hours or 7 hours long, there obviously is an overriding / separate 'theme' to this film which only works within the time span it covers!

It's just not the point I'd have solely focused on, given that this is likely to be the one and only documentary that's cinema worthy. Not only would I rather it didn't just focus on this one point, I'd also not have made it seem that knebworth was the final part to their career / everything after that was downhill. The film and the Q&A lead to believe that was how it was, when it wasn't.

I don't agree. I think it was quite obvious at the end, where Bonehead said he wishes they'd gone, "Thank you. We were Oasis. Goodnight." (or words to that effect) - as well as Noel conceding that they should've "disappeared for a bit" after Knebworth, rather than plow on - that the band didn't end in a blaze of glory, in late '96.
Other things happened too: namely, Liam's voice eroded away (which there was a whole sequence about, about halfway into the movie), and the relationship between the brothers soured to the point where they are no longer in contact, which Liam specifically states at one point, over the Knebworth footage at the end.

Haha ok. The fact is it focuses on 2.5 years of a 15 year career. I'd rather it showed more, with more footage and stories of consistent bust ups, rock n roll behaviour, an outstanding long career, river plate stadium footage with crazy fans, small London gigs in 2005 etc etc. Instead I saw most of the footage I'd seen on the Defiinitely Maybe DVD. I get why, id just rather it was from a different angle. My opinion.

2 days anymore! 18€ per ticket is a bit pricey but I'm ready to pay. I have 3 friends to go with. All of them are football supporters (hooligans!). Football + Oasis, coincidence?
