Not going to mention much as I have to be up tomorrow so I'm having to go bed soon (pure rock n roll eh?) But what I will say, I fucking loved that film. I can honestly say I haven't gone from laughing one second to bring sad the next. Fucking amazing film! I wanna see it again NOW! Oh and I do want to see that 7 hour extended edition!!

Anything to report about the Q&A? It was dire to be honest. The 'interviewer' Ted Kessler from Q acted as though he had no idea he was going to be doing it until two minutes before and allowed it to degenerate into pissed up Mancs shouting "Liam, will you name my baby?" Liam's answers were a bit all over the place too, as you'd kind of expect. At the end Kessler said "We've run out of time" and Liam said "Thank fuck for that." I think a lot of people felt the same way. |

The Q&A put a bit of a dampener on the evening, but overall, I enjoyed myself immensely. The film had plenty of laugh out loud moments in it, as well as some sadder moments too - I actually got a lump in my throat a few times, which I was NOT expecting to happen - but as to what was my favourite bit, nothing really springs to mind at the moment. I'll have to give it another watch I think - all those little clips flashing by, over two hours, it's all too much to take in from one viewing.
I wonder how it'll be received by non-oasis fans though. I mean, aside from the smattering of reviews we've already had. I can see why that Dutch DJ thought it was too long. Obviously I could quite happily have stayed in there for the full 7 hour cut, but maybe to someone who wasn't such a fanboy, hearing about the Gallagher's shyster father literally THREE separate times, could seem a little tedious. Mind you, if you're not a fan, and so haven't heard the Tommy-showing-up-after-their-gig-in-Dublin story before, that kind of thing could have more of an effect on you than it did me, so...

I think Liam should learn how to do a proper interview, I know this doesn't really count in front of a cinema audience with Bonehead and Matt. But the + Noel has is the you could listen to him a really longtime because he is a great storyteller. Liam isn't.

It was a bit "too much...for me to take" to keep it in Oasis' terms...
Although I was looking very much forward to it, I didn't expect to be overwhelmed the way I was last night. Me mum, who went with me thought it was really great too...
I am quite exhausted, and will slowly digest it... I do plan to see it again...next week...with a good friend of mine...
