Looks interesting, cheers David. Love that picture of the Gallagher brothers. Is this what you've been involved in, @oasisarchive?

Presuming from this news that the 'Supersonic' production team haven't or were unable to agree terms to licence any footage from BBC Worldwide? It would seem very odd to have both out so close together using the same key recorded moments from BBC archives.

Presuming from this news that the 'Supersonic' production team haven't or were unable to agree terms to licence any footage from BBC Worldwide? It would seem very odd to have both out so close together using the same key recorded moments from BBC archives. I'm pretty sure the Supersonic production team will have licensed footage from the BBC Motion Gallery, although I'm not sure how much crossover there will be between what's used in this new BBC doc versus the film. I did share some of my notes on BBC footage with the Supersonic researchers, and am assuming that some of this video material will make it into the film. They do have some unique Oasis footage in their archives. The Supersonic trailer also features at least one BBC clip- notably Anna Ford introducing a 6 o'clock News report on Noel's controversial "taking drugs is as normal as having a cup of tea" comment (Ford: "[Noel Gallagher] was immediately condemned by politicians"). This appears to have been sourced from an off-air VHS tape, possibly because a broadcast-quality master was unavailable. The trailer also features several audio clips from the BBC Sound Archive: one from Radio 5's Hit the North session with Oasis, and a Radio 1 clip of Jo Whiley citing Oasis as "the key band of our time" (or words to that effect). Hope this is of some help.

Got my tickets for the Glasgow Film Theater also known as the GFT.
One for the Still Game fans out there..."Join us at the GFT that is ran by a prick that is spotty and specky".

£16.99 to see it at my local Cineworld! Girlfriend gets various discounts with her job, found out Cineworld is one of them, two tickets for 12 quid! To be fair I'd of paid 50 quid each if I had to.

Yep I'm hoping to get tickets to Crawley as I get Cineworld tickets cheap through work. It's got a date confirmed but not the time, I hope they are definitely showing it.

£15.29 to see it at the Vue near me. Supposed to be going with a couple of mates when it goes on general release but tempted to go on the 2nd anyway, despite the price. Does that make me sad?

A venue near me is showing it, but they show it on the 17th of November. It's way closer than the cinema, but I'm not sure if I can wait 6 weeks longer.
