I'm seeing the new Beatles film on Thursday at my local Odeon, £17.50 a ticket I paid for that. it is insane! i only went to cinema few months back and was a was £11, £12 for premier so it's gone up £4!! Brexit must've hit the popcorn industry hard it's like they pricing it so high you might as well just do limitless as thats only £18 per months and can go as much as want Nowadays I only ever go to the cinema on the special offer days where you get 2 for 1 on a tuesday / wednesday. Plenty of better things to do with my time and money than spend £10+ to see a film. When I was a bit younger I used to go to the cinema at least 3 or 4 times a month, before it used to cost a fortune.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but the documentary's original score is by Rael Jones, who's perhaps best known for his work on films such as Quantum of Solace and Danny Boyle's biography of Steve Jobs. www.imdb.com/name/nm2536586/twitter.com/raeljones

Bollocks to it, I'm getting VIP seats...
It's a film about my favourite ever band, it's gotta be done.
And also, it'll be like 3 hours I'm in there, with the Q&A being tacked on to the end, and the seats at Bolton's Vue always end up putting my back out by about an hour into a film - so going VIP really has got to be done here.

Can someone clear this up for me - is it just showing in UK cinemas for one night (Oct 2) or is it going to also have a limited run? A friend can't come on October 2 so I'm hoping there are further dates.

I can only find it for one night at the closest cinema to me that's showing it (it's about an hour away from me) so i'm going to be looking at not getting home til half 11 which is a pain with an early start for work next day

I'm on honeymoon until the 18th October and I've been pretty gutted thinking I've missed the only showing in the UK on the 2nd so will be cock a hoop if it has an extended general release.
