I can't think of a better time than release Knebworth with christmas. I hope there will be a boxset with both gigs. And a live album from the 1st night. Won't happened. Oasis is turning this into Nirvana thing. Books, Docs, box-sets and list goes on. They'll milk very dollar out of fans. Buy it if you want or don't fucking buy it, not arsed

People who call Oasis "the Wonderwall guys" just straight up don't deserve to live.

I'm not even mad about our draw against Kosovo anymore. I came home after 12 hours football trip and watched the trailer. Especially that last part made me smile so much. Both Noel and Liam looking happy. Also that awkward Noel with his Inspiral Carpets hair When you are quoting post by Serbian member, you don't mention Kosovo. We pretend that they don't exist :-)

What about this one? Fuck me, I didn't think anyone could describe '90s Oasis as "bland". In terms of understatement it's a bit like saying that Adolf Hitler was a good guy overall.

What about this one? Fuck me, I didn't think anyone could describe '90s Oasis as "bland". In terms of understatement it's a bit like saying that Adolf Hitler was a good guy overall. First rule of Guardian commentating is to remember to hate or be snottily dismissive of anything remotely popular. You are a fan of artists who play to 'in the know' fans in underground car parks around Sarajevo, and woe betide any who actually earn the kind of money that allows them to exist, never mind match your elitist lifestyle in Camden or Islington. Politically you are left wing and liberal, expect when the former doesn't suit your income stream or neighbourhood with it's property values. The liberal part is subject to everyone being in agreement with your way of thinking, otherwise no debate is permitted but instead people with differing or opposing views must be shouted down including using the word 'racist' in and out of context to the point it has lost any meaningful impact for situations where it truly does apply. Socially you are an upwardly mobile, middle income, metrosexual type who has empathy with your fellow humans in your mind, although to the rest of the world it is more commonly known as 'white middle class guilt'. You support worthy causes and align yourself with questionable political organisations who operate as charities (PETA for a start and yes I admit I can't stand them), but aside from a small monthly donation to appease the aforementioned feelings of guilt you are fairly self centred and serving. I think that sums up my attempt at describing The Guardian readership in a similar way in which they try to categorise Oasis fans or indeed anyone they do not collectively agree with. Thanks carlober for giving me an accidental and entirely unwarranted platform to rant from!

I feel I ought to apologise to all American/European/Australian/Asian Oasis fans on here, for the exposure they've had to British journalism. What must you think of us Brits, with our Daily Mails and The Suns, and our bloody Guardianistas?

I don't even think The Guardian is that 'leftwing' these days. It's just neurotically obsessed with american styled identity politics.

No matter if youtube, facebook or international sites most comments were really positive. The typical Oasis bashing just needs to be done by some people I guess.
What brings me to my typical Oasis management bashing. The trailer is out now for 20+ hours and not a single link to it by Oasis on any of their channels. Okay they might announce it with dates or whatever today but they could at least have linked the video already or put it up on their own youtube channel. There would be no harm done if they would have done that with a simple "more information soon"

It's true, the Sun and Daily Mail with their fake made up nonsense are still worse than our worst rags. At least they don't spy on their readers. Well, there have to be "worse" Sandinistas than the Guardian though? Here in Germany we've got left wing socialist papers like Neues Deutschland or National Bolshevistic Papers like Junge Welt... I don't think the Guardian's political orientation has a lot to do with their despite for Oasis' music.
