That's not why I hate U2. Actually I just hate Bono not the other 3 guys. Ok here was a band (U2) that were actually pretty good in the 1980's. After the Joshua Tree, Bono's ego went through the roof. He became a huge dickhead like Sting. U2's music is boring and Bono thinks he's Jesus Himself! And Coldplay are worse! And Mean Mrs. Mustard how are my comments bizarre?

The reason for that is taking your other comments aside for one moment, "hating a band more" to use your words because someone you liked died while listening to them seems strange to me. Also on that point does that mean Joey Ramone actually liked U2 then? Either way it's hardly relevant as I am a middle aged accountant taking a break to comment, and you are ranting about a list of bands that you don't like while name checking a couple of older punk bands (other being Bad Religion). If you don't like U2 fair enough but you go off on tangents about other bands whilst bringing up off topic facts like Noel's new dog, so maybe calm down. Bad Religion wasn't all about "Better Off Dead"   |

Ian Curtis died listening to Idiot by Lou ReedIggy Pop, but I do love and respect Lou's masterpieces, especially with Velvet Underground.

Joey liked any band that gave the Ramone's the time of day, unfortunately. I was just trying to point out there are bands that are many times better than U2 esp. Bad Religion. I was going to make a separate post about the dog but just thought it was quicker to throw it in! No BR is so much more than Better Off Dead. I just love their lyrics and sound. I wish Bad Religion had a bigger audience because they are so AMAZING! A band that has been around for 36 years who stayed true to who they are is very rare.
