Atletico is really great team. They have almost best possible players for their tactic. Very strong defense, midfield with some "dirty" players and really quick and skillful strikers/wingers. I don't really understand people moaning about their "anti-football" and "Bayern deserved to win because they created more chances". Atletico was better team and they used their chances very well. It's Bayern's own fault they didn't manage to score and get past Atletico's defensive block

Of course it is deserved. It's still hard to argue that Atletico's style of playing is fun to watch - the CL is supposed to be the best of the best, and even if they are the best at what they do, it's just not very interesting.

Parking the bus and striking from quick counter attacks is poison to Pep's high-possession football (which is boring IMO). It's always nice to see when other teams can neutralize his tactics.

Different styles are a matter of taste. Capello was in Real Madrid 2 non consecutive years and won 2 leagues. He had to leave both times cos people didn't like how the team played. In a place where winning is the 1st, 2nd and 3rd most important thing.
3 of 4 Spanish teams at finals. 3 years winning Champions league. Not bad at all.
