Very impressive, Arsenal. Last 16 once again. Have that! And to think, almost all of us fans (myself included), wanted Arsenal to forfiet the Champions League just before the return match against Munich. Incredible! Have to give a ton of credit to Arsene Wenger for getting us out of the mess he initially created. matt

I don't think Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern will win.

I don't think Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern will win. Honestly, I don't see any other possibility. Barcelona is still by far the strongest team if all their strikers are fit, Bayern and Real are behind but can still completely demolish the rest on a good day...the only other "big" teams are Chelsea who are having a terrible season and PSG and City who usually fail miserably in the Champions League. Oh, and there's Juventus, but I really don't see them anywhere near their 2014/2015 form. Lost too many good players this summer.

Imagine this round: Barcelona - Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid - Paris Saint Germain

lol at the thought of Arsenal winning the CL. Why not? Liverpool did it in 2005. Chelsea in 2012. Neither were the best in the competition or even the Premier League. Arsenal should have won it in 2006, and we deserved too as well. But alas, we didn't. Fine margins in the final. I couldn't give a toss, though. The Premier League is of higher value - that's the one I want to win this season.

Don't see how you deserved it in 2006!
Barca quite clearly the best team that season.
Barca should've had a 1-0 lead earlier if the ref played on, and didn't send off Lehmann.
This Arsenal team still has a weak mentality, at least that Liverpool side had a top tactician at the time in Rafa and Chelsea had a winning spine in Terry, Lampard and Drogba.
None of that present in this Arsenal side. It still has the usual deficiencies I associate with Arsenal season in, season out.

Arsenal just barely made it out of group stage against two teams that are much worse than anything they are likely to encounter from now on. Atletico on the other hand - I always liked them, they lack in big names but when they have a good day they can hold up against anybody.

Atletico on the other hand - I always liked them, they lack in big names but when they have a good day they can hold up against anybody. Just barely, sure. But that included two heroic displays vs. Bayern and Olympiakos. Let's not shrug off Arsenal's ultimate achievement -- nine times out of ten a team in that situation wouldn't qualify.

I'll give you the victory against Bayern as a pretty good game (even though it could have easily had a different outcome), but Olympiakos? Any team with serious ambitions to win the Champions League simply HAS to win every game against Olympiakos, no questions asked. If a team like that is enough to give Arsenal problems, I can't see them holding up against PSG, Real, Atletico, Juventus...

Atletico were widely known as Pathetico Madrid before he took over, for their constant mugworthy behaviour.

Beady’s Here Now looks like we will see whether Arsenal are CL winner material pretty soon! Can't see them besting Barcelona unless a miracle occurs (Messi, Suarez and Neymar injured maybe), but I'd definitely be happy to see it happen. PSG-Chelsea, Roma-Real and Bayern-Juve are definitely great games as well.

Because I like being miserable, I'll be watching Arsenal vs. Barcelona in the Champions League Last 16 Second Leg on tape delay this evening.
We need to somehow overturn a 2-0 deficit, and while I'm hoping for a miracle, all I realistically want is for us not to be humiliated. Come On You Gooners!! #COYG
