I would love to have 3 b-sides like Leave My Guitar Alone. I wish he release his first single two weeks before the album instead of 6 months... The 6 month lead time was an absolute joke. Noel needs to step into the 21st century. After album number 3 I'd actually be quite happy to be milked for a solo b-sides album. As most of his b-sides/bonus tracks are spread out over vinyl only releases, YouTube & the like I rarely listen to any of them, even the ones I really like. AOTR needs to find a home on a proper release! He should announce an album and drop it after a week. Better yet, drop it the same day it's announced by doing big press release with the unveiling of the first single.

Let's stick to the pre-internet strategy of releasing stuff.

There's already enough material for one , but he should probably still wait until after album 3. An album with Freaky Teeth, Revolution Song, Do the Damage, A Simple Game of Genius, Alone on the Rope and Let the Lord Shine a Light on it would be pretty decent. I see very little value in Leave My Guitar Alone and Birthday Cake, but add in one or two good bonus tracks from album #3 and we have pretty much album quality. The AA remixes could be on there too, I still really like Shoot a Hole into the Sun and the What a Life remix. Why not make it a double with the unreleased AA album as disc 2... Hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaaahahahahahahaahahaahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahahahaha

what was RAs lead time? 3 months? thats more than enough, gives you enough time to hear the first single and generate some interest, 6 months people just forget.

Noel's lead-up time should be around 6 weeks at the most, not 6 months - and in that time he should get as much quality promotion in as possible. It's not 1996 anymore, even people who loved In the Heat of the Moment had probably forgot about it by the time the album was released.

I guess maybe Noel wasnt ready to tour and wanted to put it out at a time when he was ready but why announce it that far ahead?

Or at least, it sounded like that and he made it sound like that. He sounded pretty annoyed.

The album was finished the day after the World Cup final early July in 2014. He only want to release an album in October or March. October came to early because the Morning Glory reissue sold still well and it took longer to get the album distributed because he isn't signed to a major label.

Role Reversal: Oasis reforms next year. There is no 3rd album. Instead, Noel uses those songs on Oasis' 8th album. And conspiracy theorists on here will say that Noel was 'just saving' his best solo songs for an Oasis reformation, and thus should be shamed accordingly.
Bank fucking it.

Seriously, where did the March or October only nonsense come from? His "stuck in the 90s" marketing team. They probably planned it's release for a Monday too.

Why are Noel's people so fixated on those months? Funny thing is they've never released anything in March, and WTSMG and DOYS are the only two Oasis albums to have been released in October. + HFB1

A pic of Noels management/marketing dept...... Meanwhile news reaches Noel's management office that the 3rd album backed by some more reissues and a documentary will undoubtedly earn a load more wedge on 20% commission
