What do we reckon the tour will be like for this album? Considering he played most of the world twice with CY will he be do the same for this album I wonder. Maybe we need to consider the fact that Noel has said they're creating the songs together in the studio. If Holmes gets co-songwriting credits, then Noel will have to split the money with him. That may motivate him to do a pretty long tour to make enough money to be happy about it. Or he may do a little bit shorter one and then soon release another album consisting only of the completely self-written songs he has piled up.

I'd like him to play these Oasis songs at a next tour: - Live Forever - Some Might Say - Falling Down - Gas Panic Keep: Champagne Supernova, Don't Look Back In Anger, The Masterplan Add some High Flying Birds classics and hopefully some brilliant new tunes and I'd be a happy lad. I'd like to think we might get DYNWIM, given the fact that he went to the effort of the rethink, why not play it live with HFB? Other key oasis tracks I'd love hear that wouldn't be too farfetched. Slide Away Don't Go Away Cast No Shadow Going Nowhere Hello Let's All Make Believe Morning Glory Part of The Queue Rockin Chair The Turning Waiting For The Rapture Where Did It All Go Wrong Sunday Morning Call Who Feels Love He said in the Time Flies DVD that he would like to ressurect with his new band. I would love to hear these: She's Electric She Is Love Let the Lord Shine a Light on Me Do the Damage (Bring back that one, was awesome) Lord Don't Slow Me Down Please stop playing Digsy's Dinner Fade Away Sad Song Spaceman

(Even though it's a personal fav.) They quit playing it live so as to no longer be paying Gary Glitter royalties. Makes perfect sense. You have better odds of him playing Songbird frankly.

I'd hope if Gem and Chris are involved on tour then Noel may be more confident/convinced to rotate a few more Oasis tracks. I wonder whether they are in the studio with him, though I guess Paul Stacey plays his guitar parts brilliantly enough that Gem wouldn't be needed.

It will be production credits only. Noel went to great lengths to not give the Amorphous Androgynous a writing credit but "Co-produced" and "Backing vocals" credits for The Right Stuff and The Mexican so he there's nothing to suggest he will change in the future.

They got writing credits for Shoot a Hole into the Sun. They certainly did but Noel at that time was quite happy to admit he was working and writing with the AA, that unreleased album was still on schedule to come out when Shoot a Hole was released whereas by the time Chasing Yesterday came around he claimed he had written and produced everything himself which obviously wasn't true. His ego won't allow for a songwriting credit on one of his actual albums. Personally, I believe that is one of the reasons why none of his co-writes with Paul Weller have never been released on his albums unlike Echoes Around The Sun for example.

correct me if im wrong but the HFB tour was more risky than the CY tour with him playing more B sides and album tracks from the new album when really you would assume he would play it safer on the first tour and shake things up on the 2nd tour.

Noel could never swallow his pride for the sake of a better album. Noel let LAG fill half of HC, DBTT, and DOYS. So we know he's very willing to swallow his pride for the sake of a worse album. Yes but he has to be the best thing about it, the be all, the end all. Anyone else seen to be taking even just a bit of credit for the creative direction is a massive fear for Noel. Coward. (See what I just did there).

At the time, before it aged so poorly, it was critically well received. Noel wasn't the main spotlight on that album, and made it known that he waant in the interviews he did. It's only through poor aging that songs like Part of the Queue and TIOBI made Noel into the star of that album and still the creative force in the band.

In my head Noel and David are cooking up this cool, fast paced electronic infused rock record. But it'll probably just sound like classic Noel Gallagher.

While I would love the wind up that would occur on this board if that happened, and I might enjoy the tunes as well, I'm fine with more classic Noel. I've been enjoying it for 22 years already.
