This is the greatest year for Gallagher fans since 2009 after split. Of course 2011 was a great year as well, both Liam and Noel releasing albums, BUT this is and feels different. Liam is finally back to where he belongs after 3 years absence and Noel making records what he wants. I can't understand why some people keep moaning. You don't "have to" listen to them if you don't like, but stop keep complaining. Enjoy music. I really love As You Were and I'm listening to Who Built The Moon? again and again since this morning. I'm seeing both of them in 2 months time next year. As I keep saying to myself past days, life is good. I'd say it's WAY better than the DOYS era. Give me AYW and WBTM over the false alarm that I think DOYS to be any day, and Liam's shows over Oasis' during that period (looking miserable and distant on stage). Liam's shows reminded me of the brilliance of 2000. Add Ride to that...

Si, it's just TMWBTM the lyric they are sending out + it is a print of the scan of the original? Can't picture Noel writing more than once for each song😂 Yes, just the one lyric sheet. Though it’s printed on thick paper (not quite card) and came in a Do Not Bend envelope. Could pass as a real signature but I know it isn’t.

WBTM won't play on Spotify for me. It's there to be played but nothing happens when I click the tracks. Fuckin' hell. The only way I can get it to play is to go back to his Artist page and click the play button on the album cover. Damn Spotify!

I've only listened to the album a couple of times. Give me these two albums - As You Were and Who Built The Moon? anyday above DOYS.

It works just fine on my phone though. Must be a local files issue that will take some sorting out I guess. Glad I got the redemp code from the gig tickets.

I respect DOYS isn't your cup of tea, we've done the alternative versions a billion times over which makes the 2nd half a whole lot better but it's still better than HC and SOTSOG for me as flows better and personally I won't go out of my way to listen to a single song from HC but there's about 4 on DOYS I would remember sometimes (different thread though ) I've listened through headphones today twice and i'm still standing by I like about 4 and the rest just don't appeal to me, I like different types of music and fair play to Noel he's had a go at something different but his voice for one isn't quite good enough to pull a album like this off, Liam's vocals could probably pull this off over 10 tracks but I just found myself bored by Black & White Sunshine. The Man Who Built the Moon is decent. She taught me how to fly is miles better on record than that Jools Holland performance so i'm not slagging it off for the sake of just slagging it off, there's bits I like but on whole it's not my thing. Just like Beady Eye'S 2 albums I see myself forgetting 80% of this existed in 2 months times or listen to it and switch to Primal Scream or something half way though.

Noel has to play waiting for the rapture on the tour. He has to! bonus points ir it is the alternate versión.

Still figuring out my opinion on this record. Not to mention, it isn’t as out there or experimental as it’s been hyped up to be. I think it’s too short too. One more song would be great.
I’ll have to give it a few more listens but I’m finding myself not as excited as I was about Chasing Yesterday which is my favorite Noel solo record

Two listens right the way through, loving it, it’s a great album. Much prefer it to Chasing Yesterday.
If Love Is The Law is made to be played live, what a tune. Fort Knox and It’s A Beautiful World sound great as well, Be Careful What You Wish For sounds like The Beatles Come Together.

This is the one they're struggling to get right in rehearsals atm, according to Noel. Plenty of time to fine tune it, like.

Keep On Reaching is brilliant, fucking love it. Beautifully World is a bit of a buzz kill after it really. Man this album is so great but frustrating at the same time.

Probably my favourite NGHFB album yet... just love Keep On Reaching, Beautiful World, STMHTF, Black and White Sunshine and TMWBTM. Holy Mountain is still meh and I'm not feeling the love for Dead in the Water that everyone else is...

Ok, after a first few listens I have formed an opinion.
It’s a good album. In my scale, just below Chasing Yesterday, almost tied. In general, this is hardly the psychedelic and innovative album that Noel was selling. At least by my expectations. It still sounds pretty much like him, with good production by David Holmes.
The first half is meh to poor, in my opinion. But the second half is very strong. Be Careful, The Man Who Built The Moon and If Love might be my favorites.

I don't know if its just my ears but not sure why "The Dying of the Light" and "Dead On The Water" sound so different from the Dublin radio sessions. The latter has so much echo in it.
