TBH I think he just has enough clothes to fill a mansion. Same with Liam.

I do like a lot of the stuff they wear, but usually just take it as inspiration.

In terms of what suits me though, I'm much more into Noel's style. I don't suit a Parka haha.

As much as i'm really not disappointed in this album, i forgot how hard it was to listen for one hour to Noels voice...
Makes me believe once more that Liams voice WAS the sound of oasis..

I don't have the problem some go with his voice, and I think he is aware of it and tries to mix up different styles of singing a bit to help avoid the problem. However, I'm still surprised in 3 albums he hasn't had a guest singer or two. With all his buddies he's got some top singers he could go to when he needs something a bit different. Perhaps he thinks it'd be a bit gimmicky?

Finished the album here is my thoughts of each track

Fort Knox - Great opener, maybe not really much a song but I like it (8/10)

Holy Mountain - Never was a huge fan but it is cheese and you can sing to it. Just think it's overall sound just needed toned down (6/10) (meh)

Keep On Reaching - Hate the whole "Can You Keep A Secret". Reminds me of some musical shit from that Movie "Chicago". It passes by but like Holy Mountain gets on my never's 4/10 (Grone)

It's a Beautiful World - Love this tune. Does take awhile and has that U2/Mix with Psychedelic
rock. It works though. Wish the French bit came in sooner and it ended maybe 30 second sooner. Overall I like this one, the words are great (8/10)

She Taught Me How To Fly - Repetitive, Guitar tone and all the noises take away from it a bit. It's just ok. (6.5/10)

Be Careful What You Wish For - It reminds me of "(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady" and "Waiting For The Rapture" had a baby. Very desert feeling. Love the groove even if it has that "Come Together" bass. The words do it for me so bad "Cause You're standing on the outside, they'll never let you in, They'll let you play the game son but they'll never let you win". My Gf didn't really care for it she said it sounds like it's been done before. To me it's the best track on the album and in context of the record it's a (10/10). Plus Noel's voice is clear and not under a bunch of noise (in reality it's probably only an (8/10)

Black & White Sunshine - Fuck this song. Sounds like "Do The damage" and The Rolling Stones "Start Me Up" but together. The production ruins this song. I understand the first part sounding so trembly (Happy Mondays sounding, don't know why Bummed era). Once the bridge hits they should of let it rock out and be something like "Step Out". I doubt I'd ever like this song, but the music in the background is at odds with the melody being sung. (2/10) HATE. Sucks because I loved the title

If Love Is A Law - I don't know it's like 80's christmas song. U2 and Boy George. Its like a worse version of "She is Love". It doesn't hurt my ears but wouldn't want to put it on. Johnny Marr is amazing on it though (5/10)

The Man Who Built The Moon - When I heard this title I expected something similar to "The Masterplan". Everyone was talking about how it's the best track. I think the hype got me cause I was a little let down. Now that I've had time with it, it sounds like a moodier "Freaky Teeth". I really like it and is probably my second fav track or tied with "Be Careful What You Wish For". (8/10)

Interludes - They are fine nice music. for what they are (10/10) They do what they need too..

Dead In The Water - Wonderwall/Cast No Shadow/ If I Had A Gun/ and mostly like The Dying Of the Light. Yeah this type of song can get on our nerves however once those higher notes come in I can't help but fall in love. Yes it paint by numbers but it's a good song. Really reminds of "The Dying of the light" got reworked and made a little more depressing. It's like Noel solutions to these type of songs is to add faint piano. (8/10)

God Help Us All - Old News decent song (7/10)

For what it's worth my gf thought the bonus tracks were the strongest and the music should make and suites him best.

Overall this album is interesting in a sense and has some great sonic texture, but I dislike a handful of these songs. The sounds and the few I really like keep me coming back (6.5/10). For me it's better than Chasing Yesterday because of them all feeling connected and not like B-sides.

They did a smart thing for once

Just got the mail that they sent out my CD. No chance to have it tomorrow then. Oh well, anything under 5 weeks (looking at you, Warner!) would be sweet!

Received 2 emails from official store that my orders (Picture 12 inch disc and Holy Mountain single) are dispatched today and I'm going to my local record store to get my copy of a deluxe CD and a standard LP tomorrow morning.

My cousin in Japan received my copy of Japenese deluxe CD/DVD, so she's gonna send it to me this weekend.

My friend in England pre-ordered a white vinyl with a orange single from HMV for me.
