I'm really looking forward to get this album from my local record shop on this Friday morning, go back to home straight away, sit down in my living room, read the booklet and listen to the entire album for the very best time. Life is good.

Life is good. It's a shame I can't remember any of the lottery numbers from 1996, we could have made a fortune

I for one am not surprised at all how “God Help Us All” turned out production wise. It was never going to be drastically different or beefed up. It is what it is. A typical songy song by Noel on acoustic guitar. Fine as is. Glad he’s flushed it out of his system. Don’t need 5-7 year old songs on his 4th LP.

God Help Us All is a quick demo ala "shit, we need a bonus track for Japan, what do you got". It's not produced at all.

I don't understand how anyone can listen to this record and think it's boring. It's the most upbeat and energetic record Noel has ever made. Boring people usually find things boring haha Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's absolutely fine, but there's so much joy in this record it's brilliant.

What to do whilst listening to WBTM's tracks: Fort Knox = Chase an assassin through the rainy streets of Tokyo. Holy Mountain = Dance with large flagons of ale in the middle of an Irish carnival. Notice that the stars look closer when you're singing. Beautiful World = Plan and execute the ironic murder of a Good Samaritan. She Taught Me How to Fly = Drive down Route 66 with a blonde chick called Sherane and a ice-cold pint of optimism. Feel the breeze in your hair. Be Careful What You Wish For = Turn around slowly and dramatically in the middle of a tense western bar. Point at the long-haired jester dealing an ace to Old Man Williams. It's his time to go. Black & White Sunshine = Walk through a seventies bar in the optimistic mid-point of Martin Scorsese film. Tip your hat to Bob De Niro in slow motion before lighting a cigarette. Please, do this for the whole album

Please, do this for the whole album All I'm thinking of is where he got the name Sherane from. "Wait 'til the sun go down, roll out, complete the mission, drop K. Dot off at his mama van, at the park, cause I know he trying to fuck on Sherane tonight"

All I'm thinking of is where he got the name Sherane from. "Wait 'til the sun go down, roll out, complete the mission, drop K. Dot off at his mama van, at the park, cause I know he trying to fuck on Sherane tonight" Kendrick is the only hip hop artist that I'm quite knowledgeable of, so missing that reference was a real blow to the "I'm cool because I know about this stuff" part of my self esteem.

Honestly, it’s a joy of an album and one of the biggest surprises of the year. Liam may be the people’s champion nowadays but, musically, Who Built the Moon? is far beyond anything in Liam’s wildest dreams. In fact, it feels a bit dreamy. It’s a sweeping, forceful statement from Noel that he’s still got it.
American Songwriter review. My thoughts exactly

I've only listened to Dead in the Water and God Help Us All because they don't really count.
God Help Us All sounds like it came from a soundcheck.

I enjoyed God Help Us All not produced, I could see this song being ruined.

I enjoyed God Help Us All not produced, I could see this song being ruined. Definitely. Best to leave it as it is because if you did anything to it it would be crushed under the hype.

For sure, like what was did to Freaky Teeth. I'd rather a live version from O2 as bonus track than the produced version.

i can't say i'm a massive fan at first listen but I can definitely see this one being a grower. It's not an immediate album. In three months time I'll probably think it's best thing ever.

I hope he plays The Man Who Built The Moon Live.
And he plays Be Careful For What You Wish For and Waiting For The Rapture back to back.

I can´t find the leak fuck. I can't either. Every fucking leak I click on takes me through a thousand quizzes or questionnaires to win a prize - and nothing happens once you've spent a lifetime clicking through.

TBF you'll have probably got some form of malware from one of those sort of sites, so something happened
