Are you themightyone in disguise? Thought he'd been banned because he was a terrible poster.... thats your main argument? Woah! Just go and listen your beige music and let me have my own opinion and taste. Says a Beady Eye fan...

Dont you have any other thing to do, like throwing random shit in liams threads? And by the way I didnt particulary enjoyed beady eye. If you are having a feud with someone else you are pointing in the wrong direction.

if I had 3 wishes right now it would be: my team to become champions, world peace, and not have every single thread turn into a fucking Liam v Noel fight

thats your main argument? Woah! Just go and listen your beige music and let me have my own opinion and taste. You can like it or not and that's completely fair, but I don't believe the music in the trailer can be described as beige... unless my idea of beige is completely wrong. Also, there's no need to be so aggressive in your posts. you are right. Im not a native speaker and I repeated a word I might not even know what it really means. Let me change it for "modern crap".

There wouldn't believe nearly as many people desperately clinging on to the "Oasis sound" and so resistant to new ideas had Noel managed a more radical and successful reinvention back in 2000 and avoided the self-parody that plagued his 00's albums. Less social media, less forum activity with less people online too. It would have kept public 'dissent' at a minimum. In today's social media self conscious age, I wonder if a band will ever take a u-turn as radical as Kid A? For a guy accused of being a luddite, Noel's shown some real guts in todays music world by taking what seems quite a drastic change in sound.

I'm honestly getting tired of the word "beige" being thrown around. Noel started using it during the early CY interviews, and then Liam claimed it and now we've even got the parkas using it to describe anything outside their radar (go on Facebook and see). It's completely lost its meaning by now. Can we please get a bit more original in our use of the English language?

It is pathetic, but then these people can't think for themselves and churn out what their heroes say without thinking twice (as evidenced by yer man above who didn't even know what 'beige' means). You see it everywhere in society today. Brexiteers, UKIPPERS, Daily Mail readers, Trump fans, Beliebers, etc. Mindless robots.

At least Liam will have to stop using it on twitter now to describe Noel's musical output. The direction Noel has taken this time round is anything but beige.

I might not had chosen the best word as I told you Im not an enlish speaker. However, I know exactly what I tryed to mean. I dont like nor buy noels push to be modern and to "fit" in todays cool circles and high society. This was not the band I root for. They leaded and made their age, not followed what was trendy I might been a little to harsh in my opinion on noels record, but the reaction it triggered in you definitly is not what I would like for myself. Just leave me alone rooting for the sound I like.

If it was going to be the same old same old from Noel (e.g. if Dave Sardy had produced), I was seriously considering just picking and choosing the best tracks from iTunes when it came out. No way I'm doing that now, I'm wanting to go out and buy the full shebang (vinyls, deluxe, etc).

Sorry if you took my post as a personal attack, it wasn't intended as such. You just happened to mention the word that "grinds my gears" as Peter Griffin should say. Now we're doing lame puns with song titles, which is our favourite sport in here.

Are we going to get a studio version of Dead In The Water? Think it was mentioned somewhere that Noel went off tinkering in the studio with the version that was recorded live.

Anyone who thinks that electronica or dance music is some modern, trendy, pop fad needs to fucking educate themselves. This stuff wasn't exactly visionary when Noel did it with The Chemical Brothers TWENTY FUCKING YEARS AGO. And that was an actual #1.
I only hope Noel has made an album which bitterly disappoints anyone who thinks like that.
