What do you guys think, or in my case hope, the next tour setlist will be..whether it is next summer or in three years. Personally i would like to see them mix it up a bit...that being said, and reserving 5 or six slots for new album songs, heres mine excluding new ones:
1. Be Here Now 2. lyla 3. Champagne supernova 4. morning glory 5. the hindu times 6. c &A 7Live forever 8. supersonic 9. fade away 10. Stay Young 11. The extended All around the world to finish (due to the At&t commercials)
wishful thinking at best i know, but be here now was an awesome opener, and i would love to hear older songs played by the new oasis, who right now are playing the best they have ever played.

Maybe Liam'll grow some balls and give Noel the green light to play different sets/. Why have such a large catalogue of music and only play the same songs ever night?!

Hopefully they'll pull out of BHN, SotSoG, and HC and not completly forget about them. I'm hoping for a nice mix of new tunes and tunes from all of their older CDs, not just Def Maybe and Morning Glory.
Oh, and ditch Cigarettes and Alcohol. Am I only the one that thinks the tune is getting old after how many years of them playing it?

Yeah, Cigs&Alc is a MUST. As is Supersonic, Live Forever, Acquiesce, and Champagne Supernova. I don't really care how many times they've played em in the past.

They'll never stop playing Wonderwall, DLBIA and Live Forever...that's always going to be a given. That's their 3 most popular songs and you always play the songs you're best known for. Then there's the staples that have been in the setlist forever like C&A, Supersonic, Acquiesce, RNRS, Champagne Supernova. I'm sure they're still going to play those songs every night, although like some have said, I do wish they'd shake it up a bit. I'd really like to hear them perform songs like Hung In A Bad Place, Where Did It All Go Wrong, Probably All in the Mind, etc...And it's not like there aren't other old songs that Liam can still sing...we're not asking for Slide Away here

I think Cigarettes & Alcohol sounds more bangin' than ever with Zak on the drums. He really nails it, and I noticed he added a few little crashes here and there during the Brit Awards performance that really set it off. The song has really taken on a lot of energy in my opinion.

The only way I would want Cigs and Alcohol to stay is if they added back the Tommorrow Never Knows intro and Whole Lotta Love outro.
The future tourlist should be more like the HC's tour list. It seemed like it was a lot more liberal with older tunes, unlike the DBTT setlist which was mostly Def Maybe, Morning Glory, and DBTT (and Songbird). I mean, just looking at one setlist from the HC tour, they go from Hello to The Hindu Times to Go Let It Out to Colombia to Morning Glory. It nearly covered all of the bases, sans a few fan favorites like Gas Panic!, Slide Away, etc.

They need to play some more lesser-heard songs instead of the normal singles and anthems they play. More stuff like Headshrinker, Bring it on Down, I hope I think I know, Fade Away and other fast paced songs. I'd also like to hear a cut down version of All Around the World. Would be great for the crowd to sing along to.

I would love to hear (just once) they start with "RocknRoll Star" like they did in Chicago Metro 1994.
"This one was called RocknRoll Star then..."

I don't see why people get such a hard on for next tour setlists Who knows, there may not even be a next album or tour. I hope not, but you never know.

I don't see why people get such a hard on for next tour setlists Who knows, there may not even be a next album or tour. I hope not, but you never know. In LDSMD there is a bit near the end where Noel is just exhausted from touring and says how he can't do the touring part anymore. So maybe you have a point there. I think there will be a time where they just put out albums and forget about the world tours.

They will most Definately tour the next album... As for 'new' tunes in the set, like Noel said on LDSMD, "ol sausage fingers" lol is too fawking lazy to re-learn the words to other tunes.

haven't posted in ages did someone seriously say they should play I Hope I Think I Know? that's crazy talk, he could barely hit the notes, and that was when his voice was the best! but here's some old Liam-sung songs i think they could bring back, including some of 2002 tour setlist, i wouldn't be surprised if any of these reappeared Fade Away Some Might Say (down a halfstep) Married With Children ala '94 tour, i think that would sound great Stand By Me Born On A Different Cloud It's Gettin Better Man (the only BHN song Noel still wants play) Hello HC/DBTT stuff that needs to stay in the setlist next go around Mucky Fingers Bell Will Ring Songbird Turn Up The Sun TIOBI Lyla the classics C Supernova Supersonic Aquiesce Live Forever DLBIA Morning Glory Rockn Roll Star basically, if you take 3 or 4 from the first group, and 5 each of the last two groups, leaving room on setlist for about 5 or 6 new songs and.... what do you know, you've got an oasis setlist ;D that said, i can't wait till we fans get a new album to lose ourselves in

Well, I thought I'd just bump this thread up a little bit. Especially now that we're just a couple of month away from the concerts in Canada and North America.
I also thought about what songs they might include in the new setlist, and I've come up with this list:
Definitely Maybe:
Rock 'n' Roll Star Supersonic Columbia Live Forever
(What's The Story) Morning Glory:
Hello Wonderwall Don't Look Back In Anger Champagne Supernova Morning Glory
Be Here Now:
D'you Know What I Mean? My Big Mouth All Around The World
Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants:
Go Let It Out Fuckin' In The Bushes Gas Panic!
Heathen Chemistry:
The Hindu Times Little By Little Songbird Better Man
Don't Believe The Truth:
Lyla The Meaning Of Soul The Importance Of Being Idle
7th album:
If I'm to guess, I think they will play two songs from the forthcoming album. Especially since the album isn't released yet at the time of the aforementioned tour dates. They will of course add more songs from the new album after it has been released.
So, anybody got some opinions on this? The reason I have included All Around The World on songs they might include from Be Here Now, is that this song was up for consideration on the last tour. I definitely think they should play it, as it is the perfect show closer. Andy also tried to get them to play My Big Mouth too, so hopefully, they have listened to him this time.

Maybe Liam'll grow some balls and give Noel the green light to play different sets/. Why have such a large catalogue of music and only play the same songs ever night?! why? because if you're seeing the band for the first time live you probably don't know/want to hear cloudburst. They play a pretty good setlist for those kind of people, and people like us who have heard wonderwall a billion times are just happy to go to the show.

7th album:If I'm to guess, I think they will play two songs from the forthcoming album. 2 tunes? No chance. At shows on the DBTT tour they played TUTS, MF, LYLA, LLAB, TIOBI, MOS, and ABWR. I'm expecting only new album tunes (6-8) and the classics (CS, DLBIA, LF, Wwall, and possibly one or two between these: C&A, MG, Ssonic, Sbird, RnRS, LBL). I don't think shows before the album release will use a different setlist than post release What I'm praying for is Columbia

He didn't have to do the stop the clocks tour but he did. Also DBTT was a huge tour they added a couple more legs to the tour and they barely had any rest between them. Of course one day they will probably stop world tours but i can't see Noel stop doing small tours. For the tour list. I want a couple from each album. Dm 3-4, MG 4-5, BHN 2-4, SOTSOG, 2-3, HC 2-3, DBTT 3-4 that might be too much but whatever
