So that the people have a president the majority didn't vote for? So that a vote doesn't equal a vote everywhere? No. So that everyone gets represented. Otherwise, you'd be getting a president voted in from just CA, PA (most elections), and NY Hardly fair. Not true. Not everyone in CA, PA, or NY votes the same way. NY and CA aren't 100% liberal (just ask Devin Nunes) and PA went to Trump in the last election. Hardly the block that would so unfairly dominate America that you're imagining.

A vote should be a vote. And I understand that the election results may have been different without the Electoral College due to different tactics. But if that's the case, why shouldn't we do that? Trump thinks he would've won anyway. A vote should be a vote everywhere. Your whole argument is crap.

Well, it looks like the Republicans are clear to finish the process of stealing a Supreme Court seat from Obama.
Fuck this.

I'm embarrassed to be from the US right now. This is gonna be viewed in the future like the post civil war, and civil rights times, where the people in power are going to be viewed very negatively for trying to bring back views that were no longer prevalent.

And we have made an air strike against Syria. The biggest fallacy of the election, among many, was that Hillary Clinton (Killery as some dubbed her) was a hawk, and Trump wasn't. Even though it was fairly clear that Trump was as big of a hawk as Hilary.
Honestly don't know the point of the air strike. If it'll only be one then it's mostly symbolic. But once you've made one then surely you'll make more? Then what? I don't know if Trump knows the then what. And if it goes to hell, I don't know if he can blame Obama. Nothing says that he had to to bomb Syria.

fwiw, Trump has hit 50% approval rating. Source? A quick google search didn't suggest that figure.

Can't even see Fox reporting it. Its good that you are so concerned with approval rather than policy.

Here's the thing: Everything the Republicans cried about with Obama, the Democrats are now crying because of Trump.
Welcome to divisive politics.
EDIT: 100th page, 100 first days for Trump. Fitting.

Fitting. If you honestly believe that Trump is as qualified or has the temperament to be President as Obama did, then you are either an idiot or completely misguided. I understand the partisan divide, and this is simply not that. Stop trying to justify a terrible mistake.

Fitting.I haven't seen anyone say that Trump is a Kenyan born Muslim socialist who wants to take our flags and make laws against shooting our guns into the ground a la Yosemite Sam. You can talk about things they've actually both done that the alleged smart Republicans are pointing out but they're not the majority. Most Democrats hate Trump for the wrong reasons but at least those reasons are factual. Your party's base is made up of silly people. That's the problem.
