Not defending Donald Trump in the slightest but I would like to point out the hundreds of millions of dollars losses that he has supposedly incurred going back to the nineties with his airline, Atlantic City casinos and Plaza Hotel from looking at the figures and information available appear to be primarily to be depreciation. This relates to a devaluation of assets over a period of time which may explain with the airline collapse and other assets falling in value how Trump was able to use this to create a "paper loss" (i.e. no actual money was lost) which reduces his tax liability by the amount he then recorded as a loss. It is also a rather catch all term being used in "All Other Income" which can relate to non-business, non-investment and non-wages losses including such things as gambling- Market Watch- Why Trump's Losses May Not Have Been a Cash Loss At AllI would if I was taking a moral stance as an opposition be less inclined to attack him for a supposed lack of business acumen over these losses, and perhaps more take a moral standpoint over his complex use of the tax system to avoid payments like his elite contemporaries and even the lesser rich (I refer to millionaires who are not within the elite multi billionaire category but still are able to use such systems to their advantage) in ways that are simply not available to millions of Americans who are left with the tax burden. I obviously have no dealings with the Clintons and their tax affairs so I do not know if Hillary would be skating on thin ice so to speak using this tactic or perhaps upsetting her own backers, which may be why she and her campaign have instead focused on first page only analyses of Donald Trump's Connecticut, New Jersey and New York State tax returns. These systems exist in many countries with revelations coming in from time to time with entertainers, footballers and prominent business people being caught up in such affairs. The important thing to note when railing against these types of things is that they are not illegal although they do have a barrier to entry in terms of minimum financial commitments that can easily run into the high millions, which is what annoys me somewhat when Government figures have joined in the hypocritical condemnation. David Cameron's late father for example was one of many who either established their own or other individual's offshore funds which for decades avoided UK tax- The Guardian- Cameron Father Bahamas Tax . Where the ire of the people should be directed is against the financial institutes and Government legislators who are complicit in allowing these types of tax avoidance schemes to flourish, costing for example the UK an estimated £4,400,000,000 in lost receipts for the 2015 tax year which then has to be shouldered as a burden by increased takings from those who are subject to normal PAYE or Self Assessment rules as well as hitting the poorest hardest with cutbacks across a wide range of areas. Oh you accountants sure do know how to have a good time. I know but since I had no artistic skills whatsoever I had to fall back on letting the dull times roll

I was reading a Beach Boys forum recently and there were some Trump fanatics on it. No surprise they all thought Mike Love was the most talented one.
No accounting for taste.

Why does this remind me of that post of Noel's face in a girl's body (no, 'm not talking about his daughter)?

Donald Trump is like the team who wins the league on the last day of the season by goal difference after trailing in second all season.
3 percent game now, folks.

The day he's ahead in Pennsylvania is the day he'll win. He can't win the election without that state. Even if he flips every battleground state (so he could win Iowa/north carolina/Ohio/florida/Nevada/Arizona and still lose), he would still need Pennsylvania, which isn't happening. It's Clinton's firewall that would take something catastrophic for her to lose it. Plain fact of the matter, this is Obama v. Romney 2.0. Where Romney had a very narrow path to the election. Obama had multiple avenues, the same with Clinton now. That's not going to be erased in a week.

Agreed, although in an ideal world neither of those two individuals would be anywhere near the White House.

I find British politics depressing but if I was in America right now I'd be devastated. The pair of them are utterly useless. Bet there is a few people thinking maybe they should have gone for Bernie.

Over simplifications do not make for sound arguments. While I agree that the email issue is getting far too much attention nationally, it cannot be overlooked that she did in fact mishandle classified information as it pertains to our government and then her people openly admitted to obstruction. No amount of a judicial loopholes used to wiggle around this can change the facts of the case. As for Trump, he has the worst possible combination of traits I've ever seen in someone not in prison. Neither of them deserve the presidency. Hillary shouldn't get a pass simply because she is somehow not as vile as Trump. They both suck. This is like deciding between which STD you'd rather have. You're screwed either way.

One of the emails uncovered. Looks like Trump's misogynist supporters were right - what an absolute bitch! There's totally no difference between her and Trump...

And I wish some folk would stop with this delusion that both candidates are as low life and putrid as the other. For sure, this is as poor a US Presidential election of all time in terms of quality, but people need to get a grip if they think Clinton is on the same level as Trump.
Clinton is immensely flawed, but Trump is a catastrophe as a politician and a human being. I find it immensely disturbing that some would put her faults on the same level as Trump.
There's absolutely no comparison at all between the two.

And no I don´t put Clinton on the same level as Trump. I would even put her lower than him. Trump might make some not so wise decisions but Clinton brings us WW3 in my opinion.
