Cum On Feel The Noize sounds suspiciously like a Slade song as well.

Round Are Way and Got To Get You Into My Life. Pushing it? Because they both have brass? Don't sound similar to me at all.

Noel said that 'AKA...What A Life!' was insipid by String of Life by Rhythm is Rhythm.

Lyla and Confrontation Camp by The Soundtrack Of Our Lives are very similar. In fact I only heard of the song on an NME compilation of bands that were supporting Oasis on tour in 2005.

Did nobody mention Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is yet? Anyway, it's Roadhouse Blues.

The "lots and lots" bit of She's Electric is lifted from a Kinks song but I can't remember which...

While I am certain there will be dissent, I've always heard Aphrodite's Child - Four Horsemen in A Simple Game of Genius and The Pretty Things - Baron Saturday in Bag It Up. If it was, Noel was far more subtle than Half the World Away/This Guy's In Love With You. The sound is what might happen if those songs went into the record machine that is the Chief's head and come out his guitar.

You can also hear it on Echoes Round the Sun.

The "lots and lots" bit of She's Electric is lifted from a Kinks song but I can't remember which... It's from the theme tune of a show, You and Me. Watch from 9.30: The song I was thinking of was Wonderboy and I meant the "I'll be you and you'll be me" bit. Skip to 1 minute and see what you think... I always think of She's Electric when I hear this song.

Go Let It Out samples Johnny Jenkins' cover of Walk On Guilded Splinters (the drums). If we're doing samples then D'You Know What I Mean samples NWA Straight Outta Compton and Fuckin In The Bushes copies the drums from Hendrix's Little Miss Lover.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions. Didn't know Noel had ripped off so many people lol. I'll add these suggestions to the opening post later. To be honest, that's gonna make for one fantastic album. He may be a musical thief, but at least he steals from the best.

Chocolate st*rfish..wasn't that a member on here? Most of that list is so far fetched and doesn't even bare any similarity to the songs in question!

Spreading beyond the bounds of Live4ever to cause trouble then. I particularly like his rant at the end: "As a huge oasis fan i have to say i'm very dissapointed how unoriginal they are. i know everyone takes inspiration and ideas from certain songs BUT GOD DAMN THIS IS OBSURD. Nearly every song on every album takes something from someone else!"
