Roger Federer wins the Miami Open, soundly defeating Rafa Nadal (6-3 6-4) in the final! It's his 26th Masters, third Miami, third Sunshine Double, and 91st tournament victory! He has faced Nadal in all three of the major tournaments this year, beat him each time, and gone on to lift the trophy each time. To claim the Australian Open, Indian Wells, and Miami this year, the 35-year-old has beaten Nadal three times, Wawrinka twice, Berdych twice, Kyrgios, Nishikori, Bautista-Agut, and Juan Martin Del Potro ... Greatest sportsman of all time?

It's been a long time coming, but it's great to see Nadal beat Djokstrap again, even if Nole isn't playing his best tennis.

The first set of the Madrid final was superb but Thiem seems to have lost a bit of faith in the second. It's great to see Nadal back at his best... here's hoping it continues for the rest of the season.
It finally feels that the next generation are moving up to take over from the Big 4. Thiem's leading the way with his first Masters final but Zverev is making inroads too.

Wawrinka - Nadal . Logical final.
" Stan The Man " has played an amazing tournament. The semi final against Murray was the best game of the tournament by far. The latter proved to everyone he hasn't lost his game and he will probably be Wimbledon favourite along with Federer.
Wawrinka seems like the only player that can stop Nadal for the "decima". No set lost by Rafa who is in total confidence.
Your bets for sunday ?

Rafa in four. The man is not a man, but a force of nature on the dirt.

I'm too much of a pessimist to back Rafa. I thought he'd walk the 2014 Australian Open but his injury and Stanimal's ferocity beat him in 4. I predict it'll be a straight sets win and hope Nadal's form carries him over the line.

Indescribable from Rafa, what a biblical champion. We are so lucky to live in the era of this man and Federer. Greatest clay courter who will probably ever live.
He's also cemented himself above Sampras and Djokovic as the second greatest player who has EVER lived.

It's amazing what both Federer and Nadal have done for the sport and they've elevated each other's games. If you had of told me ten years ago that they'd still be winning Grand Slams I would have laughed at you!

Might just be Eastbourne, but it's nice seeing Nole win a tournament again for the first time in ~6 months ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

So... Wimbledon starts tomorrow and if the seeds play out we'll have a Murray vs Nadal and Djokstrap vs Federer semi-final line up.
Does anyone care to make a prediction?
• Can Murray find the form to keep him in pole position? • Will Djokstrap's Eastbourne win be the start of a great grass court season? • Will Federer sweep through the draw to grab title no. 8? • Can Nadal win more than a couple of matches and make it through to the second week?
Hopefully we're going to have a great 2 weeks and see some classics!

Did Nick Kyrigos pull his hip again or was that a tantrum retirement?

Did Nick Kyrigos pull his hip again or was that a tantrum retirement? From what I read, it was because of his hip and he didn't make a big deal out of retiring beyond what would be expected from any other player retiring from a grand slam in 1st round.

Just watching Konta, she did well first set but lost her way a bit in the second set. Hope she can get through.

Should've put Djoko on Centre Court back at 7pm under the roof.
