As much as I love the Stone Roses it is laughable how they have done so well of 1 great album and one pretty poor one.
Surely there has to be some more material? I remember in Made of Stone there was a set list from a rehearsal with "New Song" listed there. Hopefully we hear them at some point.
If this is another tour playing the exact same songs as before they are clearly chancers.

"Second Coming" is not that bad, like some of you say. Come on "Tightrope" alone is just pure awesomeness! Some of you seem to think of the first one as a holy grail. Its a great record but come on ... I smell hype around here. "Nowhere" by RIDE a great record too but doesn`t get that much recognition on here. I'm not from the UK so I haven`t lived through the times the Stone Roses released their debut, but tere are alot of great records out there that came out in the meantime.

Like I said, it wouldn't surprise me if this will be the case. Yet at the same time, if nothing was going on, Ian would've had his new solo out or being promoted by now and Mani would be back at Primal Scream. Something's Burning I really hope so. Funny thing with the Roses is money makes them disappear. They got a massive advance from Geffen when they joined them after the first record and then disappeared and they did the same after earning a shit ton of money from these gigs. That's what I'm wondering. Do they need more money right now? Can't be after the huge amount of cash they got from those gigs.

If there's no new album they better at least play Daybreak live.

Son of John Squire, Dillon, asked 'who is producing the new album?' on twitter.
'Lips be sealed' he responded.
If they were doing nothing, there'd be absolutely no reason to respond.

Saw this on the Don't Stop forum. Si Wolfstencroft also said on Twitter to a fan that 'its a suprise' when asked about new material being played at the gigs. The waiting game continues...

I expect Oasis' 8th album before a new Stone Roses album. Just saying.

So is this old news? The Pretty Green site was sharing it. So I initially thought they might be a little more trustier, because they are closer to the scene. Bummer!
