Love Me Do As much as The Beatles were such a legendary & revolutionary band, their early stuff is quite laughable, and it's amazing to see just how much they grew between here and Revolver, which came just 3 years later, but you probably all knew that already so I will just hit "Reply".  |

Been years since I've listened to the early Beatles!! I'm not a fan of early Beatles, they didn't get good until they took drugs! My vote is for I Saw Her Standing There.

That's one of the few decent songs on PPM! Yeah thats one of the best song on the album without a doubt. I want this round finish but only 8 votes, where are the people ?  |

Without the early Beatles, you wouldn't have Revolver, Rubber Soul or Abbey Road. The progression of writing mindless pop songs to where they got to at Revolver was hugely important and shouldn't be ignored.

Well it's just that they're a bit less interesting. For me it has a lot to do with the fact almost half of their early albums consist out of covers.

Well a lot of the covers are a bit dull but there are some excellent ones like Twist and Shout, Roll Over Beethoven and Please Mister Postman. A Hard Day's Night is the only album with no covers so it's no surprise that it seems to be most people's favourite. |

I like early Beatles but there was only 9 votes. Really not much. Maybe more people fo their 65-70 stuff.
And I really like A Hard Day's Night. Very good album

I think you need to advertise this thread more.
Buy some local radio time, print some leaflets, set up a Facebook page and get out a megaphone and drive around town telling people about it. Elimination threads are hugely popular; it's just the public doesn't realise it yet.
