Liam's 2011 voice is underrated. It doesn't have quite the same tone as in his peak but he had that power that was missing for half a decade or so. I'm pretty sure he was being a lot more professional at that stage. Shame that the pro footage from the BE tour was from when he was off the rails. exactly. not only was the power back in 2011, but also the range, and he was actually holding notes (!!) as you said it looked as if he was actually giving a shit again. i truly believe that he could have sung almost anything in 2011. when the 'be' tour kicked off, i listened to a few bootlegs from that period and the difference was striking, you could tell he was right back to where he was before. what a shame.

A truly awful experience and the last time I heard Liam live sadly.

A truly awful experience and the last time I heard Liam live sadly. you are absolutely right. 100%. in boston he was cooked, but when we saw him in chicago earlier in the year, it was like he was reborn, like going back in time by 10 years. the whole band was having a great time, and the crowd too. i feel very fortunate to have been there. easily one of my top-5 all-time favorite gigs.

hes always got abit gruff into the tours though, this is 1995, hes quite rough for them days, it just became more common over the years.
