I agree with Andy Summers and Andy Dunlop definitely.
Is John Squire really underrated? Being a cultural phenomenon like The Stone Roses were - and given the fandom of them on this site - I thought he was given just praise.
I've always been a big fan of Peter Buck from REM. Not sure if he's underrated but he's a versatile player for REM and his sound is as crucial to them as Johnny Marr was to The Smiths.

He's one of those guitarists you just take for granted. Not even a big REM fan as such myself but yeh incredibly versatile and capable guitarist. Johnny Marr is a don but pretty rated already.

I really enjoy Tin Reynolds. He plays acoustic shows with Dave Matthews. Love the effects he puts on the acoustic guitar.
