Empire hands down.
The Revenge Of The Sith being the best of the prequels.

I actually quite like Revenge of the Sith...but TESB It probably was the best of the prequels but that's not saying much!!!! Everything felt super rushed in this filme. I didn't buy into Anakin's turn to the dark side. Seems like he should have turned on the Emperor when Padme wasn't saved just like he turned on everyone else. Plus that opening scene space battle? What the fuck was that?!?!?!? To this day I still have no idea what going on, who is good, who is bad, why I should give a shit about anything going on on the screen. What a hot mess of an action sequence.

Revenge Of The Sith.
I don't care what the internet thinks, that ultimate battle between Obi Wan and Anakin is the greatest thing in the franchise. There's a couple of duff moments (the whole Anakin/Padme romance springs to mind) and a definite overdose of CGI but the original trilogy wasn't perfect either.

Whilst I don't agree that ...Sith is the best film, I do agree where the Obi-Wan/Anakin duel is concerned - that whole sequence warped my fragile little mind as a kid seeing that in the cinema, and I still think it's bloody great today! - and regards to the original trilogy. It tends to be mostly in America, but some people definitely do get too damn precious where the original trilogy is concerned, and in their misty-eyed nostalgia, forget how bloody stupid and cutesy the Ewoks were and are, and how laughable (in terms of choreography) Obi-Wan and Vader's duel in A New Hope seems when viewed today. ...Sith actually has a fractionally better score on Rotten Tomatoes than ...Jedi does, with 80% approval from critics, so it can't be that much of a car crash now, can it?

What a hot mess of an action sequence. Agree with everything. Sith is a mess of a movie, there is too many things wrong with it, that opening battle scene there is too much going on that you loose focus, R2-D2 in his motherfucker mode killing two big robots, the pace of the movie is super rushed, the villains are all boring and Anakin is a terrible actor. Nowadays I much prefer Ep I than III, yeah it's more a kid friendly movie and Ja Jar is a pain in the ass, but the pace of the movie is better, Darth Maul was a great villain and it's the only of the prequels which resembles better the original trilogy.

Menace is my favorite prequel. I like the combo of Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor. Darth Maul was bad ass but sadly killed off before we knew him. The film is very restrained compared to Clones or Sith. Still none are classics and I NEVER watch them.

What a hot mess of an action sequence. The last 3 seasons and the lost episodes of the Clone Wars animated series really makes me appreciate Revenge of the Sith even more for what it was. ROTS was still rushed like you said and certain events that lead to Vader's rise and the rise of the empire is extremely underwhelming in terms of scope, but because Ewan McGregor does an awesome job as Obi Wan and the very end of the movie actually helps feel like home (no pun intended from the teaser ) and after watching the better seasons of the Clone Wars I can really understand episode 3.

Interesting opinions! For myself: 1. Empire Strikes Back 10/10 (6th favorite film ever) 2. Star Wars 9/10 3. Return of the Jedi 8/10 4. Phantom Menace 6/10 (Really bad movie but atleast it feels/looks like the OT) 5. Revenge of the Sith 5/10 6. Attack of the Clones 4/10 (Amazing first trailer but everything after that was awful!) Star Wars is probably my second favorite movie franchise ever, behind Lord of the Rings and tied with Star Trek a

Just for fun, My favorite moments from each movie:
Star Wars- The whole trash compactor sequence. Really brought out the friendship in our heroes, great fun and suspense
Empire- The Darth Vader/Luke duel. Probably the most epic scene in all of Star Wars!
Jedi- The fight scenes on Jabba's ship. I know it gets alot of flak for killing off Boba Fett, But I thought it was a great, well-paced and exciting action sequence.
Menace- Qui Gon and Obi Wan vs. Darth Maul. Best duel in the series!!
Clones- Obi Wan vs. Jango Fett on Kamino
Sith- Hard to find something I enjoy in this film.. I'mma say the scenes inside General Greivous' ship. Some good action even if it's poorly paced.

The only good scene on Sith is when Anakin kills Mace Windu.

What a hot mess of an action sequence. You'd get it if you watch the Clone Wars microseries made by the guy who did Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack before they made that uncanon

Empire Strikes Back Star Wars Return of the Jedi
I won't even dignify the prequels by including them but the Clones one was the worst, they were all marred by boring storylines, stupid CGI and appalling acting (step forward Hayden Christensen)

Lucas managed to produce the worst from his actors. It leaves a lot of hope for the next set of films.
