I'm not keen on acoustic Champagne Supernova, but I could make my peace with it if the solo wasn't played by Tim Smith...

how can you get bored of this? It's like someone doing karaoke in a pub. Beyond bland. If he's going to do Oasis songs, he should stick to those that he sang himself.

Whatever really I guess when you're in the crowd you stand there thinking "this is like a karaoke version, I'm out of it" Sadly I was to busy singing my little heart out and appreciating the performance to do it, maybe next time

I'd love to see Noel playing Champagne Supernova at a karaoke in my local pub.

I'd love to see Noel playing Champagne Supernova at a karaoke in my local pub. I wouldn't mind joining in too...at the end it's still a karaoke isn't it?

You know that artist who has a perfect please everyone 20 song set? He's distinctly average.
Noel has the ability to write a song that 25% love, 25% hate and 50% are indifferent about, thats a talent in itself.
Many people here hate 'She is Love' & 'Let there be love', im indifferent to them, many don't like 'Sunday Morning Call', i quite enjoy it..
I think if anything, Noel should ensure his best in his opinion from the Oasis days are in that set, with a couple of surprises.. My only complaint is the lack of 'Live Forever', a setlist with Live Forever (with acoustic solo and Crouch Ended..), Masterplan, DLBIA and Champagne Supernova is nearing perfection. In 10 years time, maybe 'What a Life' or 'Riverman' or 'Heat of the Moment' or 'Lock All the Doors' adds to that perfection.
In my well paid opinion (to quote NG) he adapted and learned you open with a rowdier tune, and went from Stranded @ Belfast to Do the Damage @ Nottingham learning. He also encored with his best singalong, his best 'new' tune and his best ever tune.

How about you all spam his Instagram account with requests for the set? He might swap a few tunes...
For my own part, I'd also love to hear "Who Put The Weight Of The World On My Shoulders" at some point.

He has so many songs which he's never performed live..
Stop playing The masterplan and DLBIA and start playing songs like going nowhere, roll it over or even who feels love acoustic

(or almost never played?)

I do agree with dropping Fade Away, drop Digsy's Dinner also

I think the transition from Do The Damage to The Wrong Beach to Everybody's On The Run works brilliantly,so I'd leave it as it is,but yeah I agree with dropping Dream On as much as I think it's good fun live I'd like to see Freaky Teeth and A Simple Game Of Genius back in the set at some point, and I'm happy with him playing 5 Oasis songs,so if to have another Oasis song he's never played or he's rarely played one has to go that's Fade Away for me
