United Nations of sound was all about the Black vibe.
Its the must unracist record ever made.

Liam seems to, in my opinion, have a much better ear for melody than many. I mean, in Beady Eye he's by far the least musically gifted instrumentally yet I listen to the songs he wrote and he really can find a magical melody from somewhere even if sometimes it isn't always guided the right way.
I think you could compare this to many songwriters in the indie genre and his melodic writing at least stands up/beats a lot of them for me.

I agree with this, must be a Gallagher thing The problem is he's not always able to fully develop that melody, but when he does the results are often pretty fucking good

Elvis didn't write his own songs. Why should Liam? There's a lot of songwriters out there who can't sing. (Noel Gallagher comes to mind).

Everybody knows Bob Dylan and everybody knows he can't sing (although one could argue that that's what makes him so unique, apart for his tunes of course),and there are probably dozens of songwriters like him under that aspect, but no let's take a pretty good singer whose voice has improved over the years as an example instead, and then if somebody comes here and defends him let's call 'em fanboys and let's say Liam doesn't get the same treatment
I've got no problem with Liam not writing his own tunes,I'd actually like him to collaborate with other artists like Serge,Marr,Weller etc. more than with a professional songwriter or him doing all on his own,Liam needs someone who's able to develop is ideas and melodies into a full constructed song, and he needs songs that bring the best out of his voice which,at least in the studio,is still great

I think he just got a sore throat on the last two tours.

The right collaborators, the right producer, etc. I think that Liam needs a lot of guidance; it would require someone with the patience of a saint, though. Or someone like Noel, who'd just slap him if needed.
